Mapleland announced an update in the first half of September. That’s Mapleland, not 메이플 플래닛. I remember spending my time in Mapleland hunting Wild Boars to level up. With recent additions like Burning and classes such as the Cygnus Knights, though, it certainly feels different from those days. Anyway, today we’re looking at Amoria and Edelstein, part of Mapleland’s September update and events. With that, let’s go over how to get to Amoria and Edelstein in Mapleland.

How to Get to Amoria

To reach the town of Amoria, talk to Hera. Amoria was available in Global MapleStory but not in the Korean version, which made me all the more eager to visit.

Exploring the Map

When I arrived, it really felt like stepping into a wedding venue. Even if getting married in real life isn’t an option, you can still do it in the game.

The map is quite small, with only 6 areas in total. Still, the NPCs have quests for you.



• Sakura Cellion (Lv. 33)

• Indigo Eye (Lv. 38)

• Crystal Boar (Lv. 40)

• Magic Fairy A (Lv. 40)

These are the monsters you’ll find in Amoria, with levels ranging from the 30s to the 40s. If you’re around level 30–40, this area is worth a visit.



How to Get to Edelstein

Cassandra has an event quest for you to complete before heading to Edelstein. She warns that Edelstein is extremely wary of outsiders, so be careful, and tells you to visit Headmaster Ferdi.

Cassandra once again stresses that the citizens of Edelstein really don’t like outsiders. Anyway, to get there, she says to take an airship from either Ellinia or Orbis Station.

Since I was already in Ellinia, I boarded the airship there. Off to Edelstein!

And here we are in Edelstein! It looks just as I remember it. So far, there don’t seem to be any major changes.

The map consists of Edelstein and the Verne Mine, with little difference from the original MapleStory.

When I spoke to Ferdi, he explained that the people of Edelstein aren’t particularly welcoming to strangers and asked me not to take it personally. Anyway, a welcome was still in order, so I received 10 3x EXP coupons lasting 15 minutes each.
