Overwatch, Now on Nexon! How to Link Overwatch to Nexon
게임하늘

Hello, this is Game Sky.
Today, we’re taking a look at Overwatch—but not the game itself, exactly. As of yesterday, August 12, Overwatch can now be linked with Nexon. So it’s no longer just available through Steam; Nexon linking is now supported as well. In other words, you can now access Overwatch through Nexon too. That means it’s time to go over how the linking process works, right? In this post, we’ll look at how to link Overwatch with Nexon.
So, let’s get started.

Overwatch can now be played through Nexon. This rollout happened around the same time as the August 12 release of Overwatch’s new character, D.Mon (Dimon). Since Dimon is a Korean character, it seems likely they wanted to connect that launch with the Nexon integration.

And yes, there was also a genuinely funny ad. Actor Ryu Seung-ryong actually appeared in an Overwatch commercial. I watched it myself, and it was hilarious. I definitely recommend checking it out at least once.

First, go to the official Overwatch Nexon website to begin the linking process. You’ll also need to log in with your Nexon ID, of course. From there, click the option for official Nexon and Blizzard account linking. I’ll leave the official site link below.

Next, log in to your Battle.Net account and link it with your Nexon account. Once that’s done, the connection is complete.

By the way, did you know there are rewards for linking your account? If you complete the link, you can receive 5 Legendary Loot Boxes and a Nexon cosmetic set. It’s nice to see that these benefits are included too. With that, the linking process is fully complete. Now let’s jump in and play.

If Overwatch isn’t installed yet, go ahead and install it first. In my case, I deleted the Battle.net version of Overwatch and installed the Nexon-linked version again.

For reference, once you start playing Overwatch, you can receive items through D.Va’s welcome greeting, login rewards, the exchange shop, and more. Since it’s now linked with Nexon, it looks like login rewards have been added just like in other Nexon games. In any case, I’m very curious to see what kind of future Overwatch will have now that it’s connected with Nexon.

Today, we went over how to link Overwatch with Nexon. Before this, I thought all the talk about Overwatch joining Nexon might just be a rumor. But on August 12, 2026, that rumor became reality when the Nexon integration officially went live. Personally, I hope Nexon also gives proper attention to the esports side of things, including OWCS.
This has been Game Sky. Thank you!
