Maple Planet MapleLand Meran Nautilus Prince Charles Quest Guide

Hello, this is GameSky.

Today I’m playing Maple Planet again for the first time in a while. I haven’t really had the chance to play properly lately, so I also haven’t been able to post about it on the blog very often. The busier work gets, the less time I seem to have for games. Still, whenever I do get a little free time, I end up launching Maple right away. Anyway, this time I’ll be covering the quests for Charles, the prince of the Whale tribe—in other words, the prince of the sea, who’s located at the bottom of Nautilus.

So, let’s get started.

Contents

  • A Prince’s Request

  • The Shining Stone

  • Fireflies That Live on the Sea’s Essence 1 / 2

  • A Huge Pearl

  • Wrapping Up

A Prince’s Request

Charles looks like he’s not feeling too well. Naturally, the first thing he does is put the player on Mana Elixir delivery duty. As you’d expect from an arrogant prince, he really does treat everyone else like servants.

Anyway, once I gave him the Mana Elixir, he said his strength had come back. And just like that, the first quest is over nice and fast.

The Shining Stone

Next quest: even though I’m not curious at all, he suddenly starts talking about the shining stone. According to him, it’s the power source of the Nautilus, and he’s the slave—I mean, the one in charge of controlling that power.

Anyway, he tells me to go touch the shining stone. Off we go, then.

Capture_2026_0622_001241

The power source isn’t far away at all. It was literally just below us.

Capture_2026_0622_001252

Anyway, I went ahead and touched the shining stone. Now let’s head back to Charles.

Charles asks whether I touched the shining stone and whether I could feel its power. Judging by the fact that I didn’t get any kind of buff, I’m guessing the answer is no, but anyway, that wraps up the second quest.

Fireflies That Live on the Sea’s Essence 1 / 2

The third quest starts here, and this time he asks me to bring back the sea’s essence for the sea fireflies. Though honestly, why is Kyrin involved in this all of a sudden?

Capture_2026_0622_001555

Apparently the sea’s essence can be obtained from Muse in Aquarium. So yes, once again, we have to make another annoying long trip. If the reward isn’t good, I may need to butcher this whale on the spot.

Anyway, I went to see Muse. She says gathering the sea’s essence takes time, so I should come back and talk to her again later.

After talking to her again, she says she’s gathered up plenty of the sea’s essence, so now it’s time to head back to Charles.

When I got back, Charles said the Nautilus would brighten up, and that he hoped Kyrin would be happy about it. This whale’s intentions are painfully obvious, really. Anyway, that’s the end of the third quest.

Huge Pearl

Fourth quest: Charles asks the player to deliver a pearl to Kyrin. He says he could go himself, but he’s too embarrassed to do that. He even wants you to pass along the message that Prince Charles is giving it to her because he thinks it would suit Kyrin, so at this point he’s basically forcing the player to act as Cupid.

Capture_2026_0802_181846

Before I head over to Kyrin, though, he tells me to watch out for Murat. That sounds very much like not my problem.

Capture_2026_0802_182019

Anyway, I broke the shell and got the pearl.

Murat tells me to stop, and the player asks what the problem is.

Capture_2026_0802_182128

Murat says the prince is obviously going to get rejected anyway, and that it’s pathetic he still won’t give up. Considering he ended up handing the pearl over to Murat, that might honestly be better than getting miserably rejected in person.

Wrapping Up

Today I went over Prince Charles’s quests in Maple Planet and MapleLand. I thought they’d just be about helping out with work on the Nautilus, but looking at them more closely, they’re basically a romantic comedy. For the record, I wouldn’t especially recommend these quests.

That’s all from GameSky. Thanks for reading.
