Q. If you are new to the Mabinogi series, which title would you recommend?

A. I would recommend 《Mabinogi Mobile》 first.

Of course, the original Mabinogi is still an excellent game and remains well loved for its life-skill content, deep systems, and flexible character growth. However, for someone approaching the series for the first time, I think Mabinogi Mobile is the better entry point because it is easier to get into and feels less demanding.

As a mobile game, it is convenient to play anytime and anywhere, and you can also enjoy it on PC at home, which makes it especially accessible.

Q. Why is it a good idea to start with Mabinogi Mobile?

A. The biggest reasons are accessibility and optimization.

In the past, many players felt that the game was most comfortable to play on PC, but after recent optimization updates, it now runs very smoothly on smartphones as well, without noticeable stuttering.

Another major strength is the graphics. They preserve the feel of the original while bringing out a storybook-like atmosphere, which makes the game easy for first-time players to enjoy without feeling overwhelmed.

Q. What is the biggest appeal unique to Mabinogi Mobile?

A. I would say it is character customization and the storybook-like graphics.

Thanks to the wide range of fashion items and the dye system, even the same outfit can give off a completely different feel.

What I especially like is that you can enjoy most of the content more than enough even without spending money.

You do not need top-tier fashion items to make a beautiful character. Even regular to elite-grade outfits are more than enough, and if you use dyes well, you can easily show off your own style.

These days, I have been playing with a customized character inspired by Ash from Pokémon, and every outfit I used is elite grade. It came out better than I expected, so I have really been drawn into the fun of customization.

Trying to recreate your favorite anime or game characters yourself is also one of the biggest pleasures of Mabinogi Mobile.

Q. Is it a game that is still fine to start alone?

A. Absolutely.

Mabinogi Mobile has a Chance Encounter system, so even players who prefer solo play can naturally end up forming parties with others.

When taking on weekly content or other cooperative content, you do not have to recruit a party yourself, which makes the experience feel much less burdensome. Even in side games, you can comfortably play together with other users.

I really liked that even if you start alone, there is no major barrier to enjoying the content.

Q. Which play styles are available, manual play or auto play?

A. Both are possible.

If you enjoy personally dodging attack patterns and taking down bosses, manual play will suit you well. On busier days, you can also rely on the auto function for more relaxed progression.

Because you can choose the style that fits the situation, I think both casual players and hardcore players can enjoy it with satisfaction.

Q. In the end, what is the greatest appeal of the Mabinogi series?
