While playing Mabinogi Mobile, there are certain places where the scenery is so beautiful that I end up stopping for a moment. The Gairech coast, the Colhen shore, Emain Macha Lake, the waterside at Tir Chonaill. I love water, and even in real life I like heading to the sea or a river just to get some fresh air, so I think places with beautiful water stay with me even more vividly in games too. That’s why I went back through the screenshots I’d saved from moments when the scenery felt too lovely to pass by. There were plenty of candidates, but the one I chose was Dunbarton.

It’s a photo of my pet and me facing each other at sunset, with people playing music behind us. Out of the countless pretty screenshots I’ve taken, the biggest reason I picked this one is that the scene felt more complete because I was in it, and because so many users were there together. In the end, it comes down to a very cliché thought: a map’s beauty is completed by the people who are there, playing within it.





Still, it would feel a little unfinished if I ended things there, so I want to add just five more. The campfire in Tir Chonaill Square under a clear sky, Emain Macha Lake where a family of ducks swims along in peace, the lonely Bangor where the stars and moon shine beautifully, Gairech where vast dry rock formations meet the sparkling sea, and finally the Colhen shoreline, stretching so far it feels endless.
