Among the many ways to enjoy a game, customizing a character exactly the way you want is one of the most enjoyable.

In this post, I would like to highlight the fun of character customization in “Mabinogi,” a game I enjoy playing.

1) Beauty Slot

With the Beauty Slot, you can save multiple appearances for your character

and switch to whichever look you want with ease.

It consists of hair + eyes + face + mouth, and 3 slots are provided by default.

2) Various Dye Ampoules

If there is one especially iconic feature in Mabinogi, it would be dyeing.

Even within the same color family, players are well known for their keen eye for picking up subtle differences.

That is because even small differences in RGB values can produce a wide range of colors,

and that makes this system a major help when customizing a character.

Among the two features provided by Erinn Connect, the Dress Room

lets you preview in advance the appearance you want to apply to your character from outside the game, without launching it.

For example, if you want to apply “Schola Hair” to your character,

you can check it in advance through the Dress Room before actually purchasing and applying it.

Players often have to compromise between an item’s performance and appearance.

However, by using the Style Tab function, you can keep your equipment’s performance intact

while also preserving its appearance separately, making it an efficient two-birds-with-one-stone system.

In the Equipment tab shown in the image above, you can wear high-performance gear,

and in the Style tab, you can wear visually appealing gear, allowing you to keep both performance + appearance.
