This post is all about a great game to squad up in!

And my pick is... one of Korea's national pastimes! Sudden Attack!

Here's why Sudden Attack, Korea's go-to FPS, is perfect for getting in sync with friends and familiar faces

and getting that full team-play experience!

1. Clear Roles and Coordinated Plays

In Sudden Attack's bomb missions, everyone has a clear role!

You've got riflers setting up plays on the front line, snipers holding down sites or picking enemies off from the back, and shot-callers throwing smokes and nades to time the push—everyone's got a job to do!

It's not all about solo mechanics—when your squad covers different angles, pushes in together, and actually pulls off that coordinated play, the payoff feels incredible!

2. Clear, Real-Time Callouts Every 0.1 Seconds

With iconic maps every Korean gamer knows by heart (A보급창, 제3보급창, etc.), those callouts can be instant and spot-on!

Just one quick, clear voice callout like "One short by A plant," "B cylinder, skip the bait," or "Sniper on container" can get the whole team changing routes and rotating for backup—that tight communication makes everyone move like a single unit, and that's the fun of it!

3. Coordinated Utility (Smokes · Flashes) That Takes Perfect Timing

It's not just about winning gunfights—putting your utility to work is at the heart of team play!

Throwing a smoke to block sightlines so your friend can push into A site, popping a perfectly timed flashbang to blind the enemy—it's all about working together, backing up your teammates, and setting them up to make plays!

Some people think flashes and smokes are bad manners, but I think making full use of what the game gives you is way more fun!

4. A Mercenary · Clan Match System to Fill Those Empty Slots

Putting a squad together but short on players? You can still keep the team matches going without missing a beat!

You can jump straight into quick-match clan battles that fit your group size, like 3v3 or 5v5!

Short by 1~2 players? The 'Mercenary System' lets you quickly bring in other players who know how to play as a team, so you can keep working on that squad synergy!

5. Everyone's Played It at Least Once!

And here's the biggest thing—it's practically a national pastime! Back in middle school, my friends and I called it 'Saturday PC Café Day' and all headed to the PC café together to play Sudden Attack ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

Even recently, when I've caught up with friends I haven't seen in a while and we've ended up at a PC café, we've still fired up Sudden Attack now and then!

So much time has passed, but I still don't think anything beats Sudden Attack for having fun with friends!

Though can I really call it an introduction...? It's already so famous!!
