To me, 《Mabinogi Mobile》 has never been just a game where I raise a character. More than anything, it is special because it is a game where I have shared so many memories with someone I love.

The game has a couple system now, but we had already been playing Mabinogi Mobile together since the very beginning of the service, long before that system was added. We went through everything side by side—leveling up, gearing up, and trying each new piece of content one by one—and because of that, this game is filled with so many precious memories for us.

Whatever we did, it was fun because we were together

When the two of us play together, it is fun even when we are not doing anything especially big.

Some days we would run raids, the next day we would wander around the village, and on other days we would just spend time visiting My Home. Even when there was no special goal, simply being together in the same space made us happy, and before long, the game had naturally become a little date spot of our own.

Maybe that is why we ended up logging in together much more often than we logged in alone, and even the smallest everyday moments stayed behind as lovely memories.

Our favorite content is taking screenshots

Our favorite thing to do is take screenshots.

Mabinogi Mobile lets you freely take pictures using whatever poses and motions you want, so it almost feels like putting together a little photo shoot. Whenever the season changes or new outfits come out, we like to find a place that suits the mood and take pictures there, and when we look back on those screenshots later, they bring those moments back so clearly and feel even more meaningful.

I think that is one of the hardest charms to find in other games—that you can leave behind memories that belong only to the two of you as photos, even inside the game itself.

The sense of achievement from clearing raids as a duo

Once your power reaches a certain point, you can even take on raids with just the two of you.

Normally, raids are content people tackle with a larger group, so the sense of achievement we felt when the two of us matched our timing, worked through the patterns, and finally cleared one was really huge. It was also fun learning each other’s roles and adjusting to one another as we figured things out, and when we succeeded, there was that quiet pride of knowing we had done it together.

After clearing a raid, you can take as many screenshots as you want in the beautifully directed background, and I loved that even those hard-won moments could be kept as memories too.

With Infinite Rebirth Stones, all the way to the look you want

Lately, Infinite Rebirth Stones have made taking screenshots even more enjoyable.

Because you can freely change into the character or appearance you want, it becomes so much easier to create different looks to match the concept of a shoot. Even in the exact same place, switching outfits and characters can give your photos a completely different feeling, so for anyone who loves taking pictures, I think it is an incredibly satisfying feature.

We have been doing the same thing too, changing into different appearances whenever a new concept comes to mind and leaving behind all kinds of memories that way.

The best game to enjoy together

To me, Mabinogi Mobile is not simply a game I have played for a long time, but a game where I am still making memories with someone I love.

Every moment we spent clearing raids together, walking through the village, and searching for beautiful places to take screenshots has stayed with me as a precious memory. I think the greatest charm of this game is that it lets you laugh together, grow together, and leave memories together, all within the game.
