Playing games alone can be fun, but the moments that stay with me the longest are usually the ones I shared with other people. I have played many games with friends, but the one we still enjoy together the most is Mabinogi Mobile. There is plenty of content that lets us work toward goals as a group, and even after a battle ends, there is still so much to do together. Because of that, it has come to feel less like simply playing a game and more like a place where I can spend time with friends.

The joy of clearing raids together

The content I enjoy most with my friends is, of course, raids. There is something deeply satisfying about dividing up our roles, responding to the boss’s patterns, and finding our rhythm together.

In the beginning, we made plenty of mistakes, but after challenging it over and over, the moments when we gradually started to move as one brought a real sense of accomplishment. When we finally cleared a difficult raid, we naturally found ourselves praising each other, and that entire process became a fond memory in itself.

My Home, where we can keep spending time together after battle

Raids are not the only thing we enjoy. After battle, my friends and I often gather in My Home to talk, or simply spend time decorating and trying different things together.

Mabinogi Mobile offers content beyond combat where we can relax together, so even when we stay logged in for a long time, it never feels dull. As those small, quiet moments add up, I feel my affection for the game only grows stronger.

The content I would recommend most: 'Performance'

The content I would most like to recommend is the performance system.

When you hear another player performing a song, you can transcribe the sheet music and collect it yourself, which makes gathering a wide variety of music especially enjoyable. It is also possible to perform together with friends in the same place, and when each person plays a different instrument, the sound becomes much richer and even more rewarding to listen to.

What I especially like is that if you perform while in a party, you can set the performance so that it is visible only to party members. Thanks to that, it is perfect for quietly enjoying an ensemble with friends alone, or for practicing comfortably without feeling self-conscious, so I find myself using it often.

I use piano, violin, harp, guitar​, and other instruments purchased with points from the cash shop, and I have been happy with all of them. Each instrument has its own distinct tone, and that is part of the appeal as well. When we play together, it allows us to create music that feels even more colorful and full.

A game that becomes even more enjoyable the more you play together

It is a game that is more than enjoyable even when played solo, but I think Mabinogi Mobile’s charm comes through most clearly when you share it with friends.

The tension of coordinating roles in raids, the relaxed time we spend together in My Home, and the experience of making music together through ensemble play with different instruments... Because of all these different kinds of content, the time I have spent with friends in this game has stayed with me for a long time.
