[Participating in the Nexon PEAK Post Challenge]

I'm 준룡서서.



Today, I'd like to share one of the Nexon games

that ranks among the 3 I've played the longest.

(I'll be covering the other two as well.)





That game is MapleStory: Idle RPG.

As I mentioned before... after the mass refund controversy,

a lot of players left. But looking purely at the game itself,

the updates and events keep coming.

There's plenty to enjoy even as an F2P player, and in my book, that makes it

a great game.



Why I Keep Playing



Plenty to Enjoy for F2P and Light Spenders

Log in regularly and you can make steady progress,

with solid events and rewards helping you along.

The ad-removal package is optional—but practically a must.

I've grown attached to my character, so I've also spent some money

on Royal Style.



A Variety of Events

The summer event is in full swing right now.

Other events pop up as you progress, too.





Manageable Dailies (At Least for Me)

You can build up your stats to tackle challenges, while the sweep feature

lets you breeze through your dailies—something I really appreciate.



Guild Content

There are guild rewards to collect,

and chatting with guildmates while growing the guild together is part of the fun.

Guild donations are a must!



Arena

Playing this mode earns you currency

that you can spend on costumes or resources

you need to keep progressing.



Hunting Grounds

For now, I'm staying in Chapter 27, Mu Lung 5,

but I'll keep getting stronger and tackling chapter challenges

so I can move on to the next chapter.

Watching the cute MapleStory characters in action,

with all those great-looking skill effects, really makes time fly.

Log back in within 24 hours and you can also collect

offline rewards. Even with just around 10 minutes a day to spare,

it's a good game to stick with over the long term.



(Overall Verdict)

Logging in for short sessions and steadily building up your character is satisfying,

and that makes MapleStory: Idle RPG a game that doesn't get old easily.
