Taking part in the Nexon PEAK Post Challenge

You know those gaming moments that get your heart racing~

For me, it's seeing my character stronger today than they were yesterday.

The more satisfying that growth feels, the more attached I get to the game.

At first, I just wanted to give a raid a proper shot.

Then I wanted a spot in the raid's family photo.

And somewhere along the way, I caught myself looking at the top-ranked players' badges and thinking, "I want to make it up there someday, too."

Those Shiny Leaderboard Badges That Won Me Over

Walking around town, I'd often spot players with special badges next to their names.

At first, I'd just admire them and think, "Wow... you've probably got to play for ages to get one of those, right?" But the more I saw them, the more I started wanting one myself.

Those players must have worked their way up one step at a time too, right?

That thought was all it took for a goal to start taking shape.

It wasn't just about making my combat power number go up anymore. Once I wanted one of those badges for myself someday, getting stronger became part of the fun.

The Long, Tough Grind Toward Raids and Abyss

From that day on, I knew exactly what I wanted: to tackle high-difficulty raids and deep Abyss dungeons with enough strength to reliably carry them myself.

But if I wanted consistent runs in raids or Abyss, combat power was a pretty big deal.

Mine wasn't anywhere close at the time, so I got serious and put together a plan to power up.

First, I figured I could only bring in so many resources with one character, so I started putting serious work into leveling alts. I made every material they gathered count, funneling it all into my main to build a solid foundation.

I gathered materials, put my gear together one piece at a time,

and chipped away at enhancements, bringing my stats up slowly but surely.

I wasn't doing a ton each day, but I kept at it—and before I knew it, I was way stronger than I'd been before.

Finally! The Day I Made the Family Photo

All the care I'd put into my character finally paid off: I hit the combat power I needed to confidently join the raid party I'd been aiming for.

But the moment that really stuck with me? The raid clear screen.

When that long-awaited raid ended, there was my character, front and center in a spot of their own in the 'family photo.'

All that time spent grinding alts and life skills flashed before my eyes, and I got goosebumps all over.

Just staying alive used to be a struggle, but I kept getting stronger, and eventually my character was right there alongside the others on that clear screen everyone calls the family photo.

It might not sound like much, but that one screen brought back all the time I'd spent gearing up, grinding life skills, and leveling alts just to get there. I couldn't help feeling proud.

Always Another Goal, Always Room to Grow

To me, the most important thing in an MMORPG is having that next goal.

In Mabinogi Mobile, between raids, Abyss, gear progression, and life skill content, hitting one goal naturally gave me another to chase.

A big part of the fun was asking myself, "How about aiming for this next?"

And when new raids come out, I can see myself getting right back to gearing up and taking on the challenge.
