[Taking part in the Nexon PEAK Post Challenge]

Hey everyone ㅎ.ㅎ

Today, we're digging into a seriously creepy story from Nexon's game Elsword…

Just a heads-up: this is only a rumor ㅎ.ㅎ Nothing official!

Keep that in mind as you read!

Let me introduce you to a slightly spooky Easter egg ㅎ.ㅎ

It's the “portal” in Feita Village…

One day, a player spotted this portal on the map…

They asked the game staff what it was, but even the staff weren't sure.

Here's the thing about this portal…

1. At 12 at night, it turns red…

2. Any monsters that get near it immediately run away…

3. Step through it, and you're stuck on an endless loading screen…

4. And supposedly, there's a giant monster on the other side…

So a player went all the way to the portal and tried going through to see for themselves, but…

Apparently, all they got was a message saying “Traveling.” Nothing happened…

As for why this area was made, there are a few guesses:

1. It's there to honor the dead, as its name suggests

2. A bug created the area

3. It was originally meant to take players to a boss raid.

Those are just some of the theories…

Apparently, even now, no one knows why this portal in the Pilgrim's Site exists…

Creepy, right~!~!

So that was today's spooky story slash Easter egg from Nexon's game Elsword…

It feels kind of weird telling you a story I actually believed as a kid…

Sadly, this is the only spooky story Elsword has,

so I'd love to tell you more, but I've got nothing else ㅠ.ㅠ
