[Taking part in the Nexon PEAK Post Challenge]

Today, let me tell you about a super creepy rumor from the Nexon game Elsword…

This story is just a rumor ㅎ.ㅎ It’s not official.

Just keep that in mind while you read.

I wanna introduce a slightly spooky Easter egg ㅎ.ㅎ

It’s the “portal” in Feita Village…

One day, a player spotted this portal on the map, and then…

when they asked the staff what it was, apparently even the staff didn’t really know what this portal was.

This portal…

1. When it hits midnight, the portal turns red…

2. If a monster in the game goes near the portal, it immediately runs away…

3. If you take the portal, you get stuck in infinite loading…

4. And supposedly, there’s a giant monster on the other side of the portal…

So one player went there to check for themselves and tried taking the portal, but…

they said only a message saying they were moving popped up, and nothing happened at all…

If we try to guess why this space was made…

1. It was made to honor the dead, fitting its name

2. It’s a space created by a bug

3. It was originally made as a boss raid travel portal.

Those are some of the theories…

They say no one still knows why this portal in Pilgrim’s Sanctum exists to this day…

So yep, today we looked into a ghost story-slash-Easter egg from the Nexon game Elsword…

Retelling a ghost story I believed when I was younger feels kinda weird somehow…

Sadly, Elsword doesn’t really have any other ghost stories besides this one, so…

even if I wanted to tell you more, I just can’t ㅠ.ㅠ

Elsword is a Nexon game with spooky ghost stories too... so how about trying it yourself and checking out that portal!?
