[PEAK Challenge] My whole life is in Elsword...

[Participating in the Nexon PEAK Post Challenge]

Hello! Today, I wanted to introduce the game of my life.

Of course, if you’ve read my posts before, you probably already know this right away, but the game of my life is ‘Elsword.’

From my elementary school days to now

I got hacked on it twice(…), so it’s not an account I use anymore now, but this was my first Nexon account.

As you can see, I’ve been playing this game since 2008, so I think that’s why I feel so attached to it.

Of course, because of school and just not always having the right computer setup, I stopped and came back over and over, but Elsword is still the only game I’ve stayed with for this long.

Calling it recent is a bit of a stretch now, ㅎㅎ

But I did come back to Elsword again about 2 years ago. I’ll talk about why a little later.

A game that helped me get through a hard time

I started my first real working life in 2024, and I was incredibly busy.

To what extent? In July, except for exactly one day, every single day was overtime, and there were even times when I worked past the 20 overtime hours I was allowed to apply for, basically staying late and working for free.

I really remember that period as being unbearably hard.

After spending July like that, all I really remember about August is crying through the whole month.

That was when I started Elsword.

In the middle of being busy every single day, I kept thinking I needed some kind of outlet for my stress, and that ended up being games. And once I became an adult and could more easily get equipment like a computer, I bought one and started Elsword.

While playing Elsword, I met good people, had a genuinely fun time in-game, and let off a lot of stress that way ^_^

And somehow, I ended up staying at that company until 2025 after all ^^…

I’m doing well at a more comfortable workplace now, but I’m still playing Elsword.

This is a screenshot from the period when I was starting to feel a little better, thanks to blowing off stress through Elswordㅋㅋ

It’s so cute…

A great game for dressing up

Personally, I really like dressing characters up and styling them.

Elsword has especially nice outfit modeling, and recently they even added avatar dyeing, so now you can coordinate looks much more freely.

This is one of the looks I personally love and use a lot ^_^

For the hat, I dyed it pink to give it an even cuter point.

The other looks here are all undyed.

Of course, you can still dress beautifully without dyeing anything, but I do think dyed avatars show off a bit more individuality~

A great game for hanging out together

Like this, you can take fun screenshots and chat with people you know.

If it weren’t for the people around me, I really think it would’ve been hard for me to settle into Elsword the way I did ^_^

The screenshot below is my lovely wife through the Jiae system^^…

In that sense, Elsword lets you interact in all kinds of ways.

A game with charming characters

I really, really love the character Chung.

I feel like I’ve already said that too many times, so I’ll stop there.

This is a bit of a separate note, but among the villains, I really like the character Vargat.

He feels like the kind of character who makes you think again about the sacrifice of a few for the sake of many.

The game itself is fun!

Honestly, no matter how much you like everything else, if the game itself isn’t fun, you just can’t stay with it for long.

But Elsword has its own very specific charm, I think.

It’s just fun.

You should all try enjoying the game of my life too ^_^~
