[Taking part in the Nexon PEAK Post Challenge]

Hello! Today, I’d like to share a little about the game that means the most to me.

If you’ve read my posts, you can probably guess which one it is: “Elsword.”

From my elementary school days to now

I don’t use this account anymore because it was hacked twice (…), but it was my first Nexon account.

As you can see, I’ve been playing since 2008, which I think is part of why I’m so attached to it.

Of course, I’ve taken breaks and returned over the years, depending on school and whether I had a computer I could play on, but I think Elsword is the only game I’ve stayed with for this long.

It’s been a little too long to call this recent, though ㅎㅎ

I returned to Elsword about 2 years ago. I’ll explain why in a moment.

The game that helped me through a difficult time

I started my first job in 2024, and life was incredibly busy.

To give you an idea, I worked overtime every day in July except for one day. There were even times when I stayed beyond the 20 hours I could claim overtime pay for, so it was almost like volunteering.

I remember how hard that time was.

After such a busy July, all I remember of August is crying the whole month.

That was when I started playing Elsword again.

With every day so busy, I knew I needed some way to relieve my stress, and I turned to gaming. Being an adult made it easier to get a computer and the other equipment I needed, so I bought a computer and started playing Elsword.

Through Elsword, I met some lovely people, and having fun playing together helped me unwind ^_^

In the end, I managed to stay at that company into 2025 ^^…

I’m doing well at a less demanding workplace now, but I’m still playing Elsword.

A great game for dressing up

I’ve always enjoyed dressing up and styling characters.

The outfits in Elsword are beautifully modeled, and the recent addition of costume dyeing gives us even more freedom to put looks together.

This is one of my favorite looks, and I use it often ^_^

I dyed the hat pink for an extra cute touch.

None of the other looks use dyes.

You can put together lovely outfits without dyes, but I think dyeing your costumes lets a little more of your personality show~

A great game for hanging out together

You can have fun taking screenshots and chatting with friends like this.

Honestly, without my friends, I don’t think I would have felt quite so at home in Elsword ^_^

Elsword gives us all sorts of ways to interact like this.

A game with charming characters

I really love the character Chung.

I feel like I’ve talked about him so much already, so I’ll leave it at that.

On another note, one of the villains I really like is 바르가트.

I think he’s the kind of character who makes you think twice about sacrificing the few for the many.

The game itself is fun!

Honestly, no matter how good everything I’ve mentioned might be, it’s hard to stick with a game for long if playing it isn’t fun.

But I think there’s something about playing Elsword that you just don’t get anywhere else.

It’s fun.
