[PEAK Challenge] I managed to cover every event in FC Online just by using Manager Mode

When people think of FC Online, they usually picture intense matches with direct control, but I’ve been collecting FC while keeping up with daily events without much pressure thanks to Manager Mode auto-progress.

Today, I wanted to share how I clear FC Online’s daily events and pick up the rewards using Manager Mode alone.

When I first started FC Online, I assumed I would have to personally play several matches every day just to meet the daily event requirements. If you try to fill 10 or 20 matches through direct control, it takes quite a bit of time, and the fatigue adds up more than you expect. Some days go well and some do not, so on the days when I wanted to win but kept losing, it honestly felt even more stressful. Then if I missed a few days of logging in, I would fail to clear the event conditions and miss the rewards, and that would turn into even more pressure, repeating the same cycle.

Then I finally understood how Manager Mode auto-progress really works. In Manager Mode, the match is simulated between AIs instead of me directly controlling the players, and with auto-progress turned on, the next match starts as soon as the previous one ends. Once it is set up, the matches keep going on their own even if I do something else or step away for a while. After I learned that, FC Online started to feel like a completely different game.

If you let Manager Mode auto-progress run for 20 matches in a day, most of the match-count requirements in FC Online’s current events get cleared in one go. The attendance point system gives points when you complete 1, 3, and 5 matches, so even running just 5 matches in Manager Mode is enough to cover most of your basic daily points.

If you go all the way to 20 matches, those conditions are cleared comfortably, and attendance events, match-count events, and daily missions can all be handled at the same time. If you set auto-progress before leaving for work or school in the morning, the event conditions are already done by the time you come back. At that point, all you really have to do is claim the rewards, so it feels very manageable.

Another reason FC Online feels appealing is that the rewards change depending on how much you run Manager Mode. You can get mining tickets for reaching 1, 3, 5, and 7 played matches, and the reward tier goes up based on the cumulative number of mining tickets you use. If you build up 40 or more mining tickets, you can aim for a higher reward tier.

If you keep running 20 Manager Mode matches every day, those mining tickets naturally start to stack up, and as they accumulate, they lead to better rewards. It is not really about forcing yourself to fill the match count, but more about feeling that the reward tier is rising on its own just from letting the mode run automatically.

While I was consistently running Manager Mode, the biggest thing I noticed was how naturally FC started to build up. You earn tokens based on the number of matches played, and those tokens can be exchanged for rewards, so the more steadily you increase your match count, the wider the range of rewards you can claim becomes.

You can also earn FC by putting in the effort and winning through direct control, but in terms of reducing the burden, it was much easier for me to build up match count through Manager Mode auto-progress and indirectly collect FC-related rewards through tokens and mining tickets. Since the rewards keep stacking up as long as you steadily fill the match count without spending money, it gave me the sense that the game was giving something back in proportion to the time I put into it.

The best part of Manager Mode auto-progress is that it never feels forced. If I want to play manually that day, I can do that, and on days when I am busy or tired, I can simply use Manager Mode auto-progress to take care of the events. Even on days when I keep losing in direct-control matches, switching to Manager Mode lets me fill the match count without adding more stress.

Without the pressure of having to log in every day and force myself to clear events, I found that I could play much more flexibly, doing things manually when I wanted to and letting them run automatically when I did not, and that naturally made it easier to keep logging in consistently. For me, the biggest strength of FC Online’s Manager Mode is that the game does not start to feel like homework.

Recommended for players like this

If you want to enjoy FC Online but feel that playing matches directly every day is a bit burdensome, or if you want to collect event rewards and FC but do not have much free time, I really recommend making use of Manager Mode auto-progress. Just by letting it run for 20 matches automatically, you can finish all of the day’s events, and because the rewards grow along with your match count, it becomes more worthwhile the more consistently you keep at it. For anyone who wants to enjoy FC Online steadily and without pressure, Manager Mode is a feature I genuinely recommend.
