Hello, this is Jutopia.
In this post, I’ll be reviewing a Salary 310 Chelsea first-team squad for FIFA Online 4 / FC Online, based on the July summer season.
Recently, player prices across FC Online have risen sharply due to package changes, event rewards, and increased BP supply. In particular, players tied to popular team colors or new traits often see stronger price movement on weekends, so rather than buying right away, it may be worth watching the market for a few more days.
Personally, I think the better approach is to avoid this weekend, check prices again around next Tuesday or Wednesday, and consider buying when the market pulls back once. Of course, this inflationary trend could continue for a while, so instead of forcing the full squad in one go, it seems more stable to put your target players on a watch list and buy them one by one when prices dip.

Chelsea is a side where a legend-heavy build is more appealing than an all-current squad
Chelsea also has plenty of strong current players, but in FC Online, it is still one of the better teams for combining legend appeal with reliable performance.
Players such as Drogba, Gullit, Hazard, Čech, and Ashley Cole are highly satisfying picks on name value alone when building a Chelsea team color, and their in-game performance has also been consistently proven.
Of course, if you want a more current Chelsea squad, you can build around players such as Caicedo, Guéhi, and Aina. However, for this first-team squad, I found that a balanced mix of legends and current players produced the best overall result from a performance standpoint.

DCB Didier Drogba (ST)
For the Chelsea lone-striker role, Drogba is still the clear choice.
Chelsea has several striker options, including Aubameyang, Shevchenko, Crespo, and Torres. However, if you want both Chelsea identity and performance, Drogba is very difficult to leave out.
For this squad, I went with DCB Drogba.
The main reason is the new Cross Poacher trait. With this Chelsea setup, Hazard and Pedro can create from the flanks, while Drogba finishes centrally, and that pattern suits the squad very well.
In actual gameplay, his positioning in the box, physical presence, heading, and finishing all feel strong.
He is especially impactful in crossing situations, and the ability to use both feet is another advantage. He is not just a theme pick; he is a genuinely strong recommendation as a lone striker even in a performance-focused Chelsea first-team squad.

FSL Ruud Gullit (CAM)
At CAM, the choice is FSL Ruud Gullit.
For Chelsea’s CAM spot, Gullit is effectively the default name that comes up first. There are other options such as Lampard, Forlán, Zola, and Havertz, but for a first-team squad, Gullit is the safest pick if you want both performance and consistency.
FSL Gullit is strong across the board in physicality, passing, shooting, and movement.
From CAM, he can drive the attack while also making direct runs into the box and finishing himself. With Drogba holding up play up front and Gullit linking from the second line, the structure fits a Chelsea squad extremely well.
Put simply, it would be fair to say the core of this Chelsea first-team squad is Drogba and Gullit.

25DP Eden Hazard (LM)
On the left wing, I used 25DP Eden Hazard.
Chelsea has excellent depth on the wings. There are several options, including Hazard, Zola, Pedro, Nkunku, and Joe Cole, but on the left side, Hazard feels like the best fit for Chelsea’s identity.
25DP Hazard offers very good dribbling responsiveness, turning, and ball retention.
Receiving wide and cutting inside feels natural with him, and around the box he is effective at creating space with short movements before linking into either a shot or a pass.
In this Chelsea squad, Hazard is more than just an efficient option; he is the kind of player who makes the attack itself more enjoyable to use.

FAC Pedro (RM)
On the right wing, I used FAC Pedro.
On the right side, the main debate is usually between Nkunku, Zola, and Pedro. For this squad, I felt the attack needed proper investment, so I chose FAC Pedro.
In particular, Pedro has the new Line Breaker trait, which has been rated very well lately.
Thanks to Line Breaker, his runs into space are strong, and he frequently creates moments where he breaks the defensive line from the right.
If Drogba is finishing centrally and Hazard is disrupting defenders with dribbling on the left, Pedro’s role is to open up the right side with pace and runs in behind.

25 UCL M. Caicedo (LDM)
The first defensive midfield spot goes to 25 UCL M. Caicedo.
Chelsea’s defensive midfield is a very important area because it has to connect both attack and defense. For this squad, I chose Caicedo with both performance and the new trait in mind.
25 UCL Caicedo has the new Wild Tackler trait, and that gives him a very solid feel in defensive situations.
His work rate, coverage, pressing, and tackling are all solid, and he does a good job of breaking up opposition attacks in midfield.
In a Chelsea first-team squad, a large share of BP tends to go into the attack, so dropping too low in quality at CDM can hurt the overall balance. In that sense, Caicedo is a strong choice because he offers both performance and a new trait.

WS N'Golo Kanté (RDM)
Caicedo’s partner is WS N'Golo Kanté.
Kanté is one of the best Chelsea midfield options if you want both theme value and performance. The WS version in particular suits the current meta well because it comes with the new Chaser trait.
Kanté’s main strengths are work rate and pressing.
He is very effective at cutting out possession and recovering quickly on defense. He is not the type to overpower opponents purely with physicality, but he feels very good at constantly tracking, pressuring, and disrupting in midfield.
If Caicedo provides the more direct defensive impact through Wild Tackler, Kanté covers ground more broadly through the Chaser trait.
Overall, I think this is a very stable double pivot for a Chelsea first-team squad.

WS Ashley Cole (LB)
At left back, I used WS Ashley Cole.
For Chelsea at left back, Ashley Cole is close to the standard choice. For this squad, I selected the WS season.
Ashley Cole has the new Chaser trait, and while it is only a small bonus, he can also receive the Blues' Heart trait team color.
The Chaser trait is quite important for a fullback. In the current meta, where flank speed and counterattack response matter a lot, the ability to track opposing wingers has a major impact on how the player feels in game.
Ashley Cole is solid in defensive recovery, wide coverage, and overlapping runs, while also being a strong fit for a Chelsea-themed squad.

CH Kalidou Koulibaly (LCB)
The first center-back spot goes to CH Kalidou Koulibaly.
Koulibaly is one of Chelsea’s better center-backs when it comes to physicality and defensive stability.
His strength in duels, aerial presence, and defensive range are all solid, and he gives the back line a reliable foundation in this first-team squad.
Chelsea is a team that usually requires heavy BP investment in the attack, so building the center-back line entirely with top-priced options is not always realistic.
From that perspective, Koulibaly offers a good balance between price and performance.

25DP Marc Guéhi (RCB)
Koulibaly’s partner is 25DP Marc Guéhi.
Guéhi has recently become one of the more popular picks among Chelsea center-backs. The main reason I selected him for this squad is the new Wild Tackler trait.
25DP Guéhi has good defensive reactions and coverage, and thanks to Wild Tackler, he has clear presence in tackle situations.
If Koulibaly handles the physical duels and aerial battles, Guéhi plays more of the role of tracking quickly and stepping in for interceptions.
Both players provide defensive stability, and the fact that they also bring new traits makes them a strong fit for a Chelsea first-team squad.

25DP Ola Aina (RB)
At right back, I used 25DP Ola Aina.
For Chelsea at right back, Ola Aina and Ramires are the two names that come up most often. In the current market and meta, though, Ola Aina seems to be the more common choice.
Ola Aina offers good pace, work rate, and defensive recovery.
He is a dependable two-way option at right back, and the value relative to price is also fairly good.
Right back can easily become a weak spot in a Chelsea squad, but adding Aina improves the overall balance.

BDO Petr Čech (GK)
In goal, I used BDO Petr Čech.
For a Chelsea goalkeeper, Čech is the safest overall option and also a strong thematic fit. In this squad, I chose the BDO season with salary in mind.
Čech offers strong save coverage and overall stability thanks to his height.
Goalkeeper feel can vary from player to player, but using Čech in a Chelsea team color is also highly satisfying from a squad-building standpoint.
Even at Salary 310, it is difficult to fill every position with high-salary players, so for goalkeeper, it makes sense to consider both salary and BP together.
Overall Evaluation of the Chelsea Squad
This July summer season FC Online Salary 310 Chelsea first-team squad is built to balance legend appeal and performance.
At striker, DCB Drogba provides finishing and aerial presence, while FSL Gullit handles attacking buildup from CAM.
The flanks use 25DP Hazard and FAC Pedro to cover both dribbling and runs in behind, while the midfield pairing of Caicedo and Kanté adds new traits and defensive stability.
The back line consists of Ashley Cole, Koulibaly, Guéhi, and Ola Aina, with BDO Čech in goal.
With recent inflation pushing player prices higher across the board, I would recommend avoiding weekend prices and checking again around next Tuesday or Wednesday rather than forcing the build immediately.
For the Chelsea striker spot, which player do you prefer?
Drogba vs Shevchenko vs Crespo vs Aubameyang
Who would you choose?
Thanks for reading to the end. If you found this helpful, I’d appreciate a like and a comment.
