There’s one particularly famous ghost story in Baram.

This goes back to the old days, when Gu Ja-ho still smoked.

So what was the ghost story? Simply this:

the story that Japanese monsters would come pouring in through the West Coast.

If you’re an old Baram player, some of you probably remember it.

People used to say Japanese monsters were going to invade Guknaeseong through the West Coast,

and when I heard that rumor, I marched my level 50 Taoist

straight toward the West Coast.

I hustled all the way down there, ready to beat those Japanese monsters senseless.

But then—wouldn’t you know it...

everywhere I looked, the bodies of beginners were piled up,

and I ended up a ghost myself,

and the items I’d cherished so dearly were left behind on my corpse,

while the Japanese monsters that were supposedly invading never showed up at all—

that old ghost story...

As for the Baram team, after hearing that story,

I vaguely remember catching wind that they said it might be worth turning into an event.
