[Joining the Nexon PEAK Post Challenge]

Today we’re checking out the motions in Mabinogi Mobile!

I’m one of those players who collects motions just because my character looks way too cute doing them…

There are sooo many different motions, plus interaction motions too, so you can express basically anything. The only problem is,, they’re only sold for a limited time, so once that window’s gone, you can’t buy them anymore.. so I try to grab every motion I can while it’s available! Though yeah, there are still some I can’t get… whales probably have literally everything, huh... must be nice…

I didn’t start Mobi from day one, so today, to show you just how hard the Mabinogi Mobile motion team goes, I invited assistant instructor, Mobinogi’s representative Erin resident!!! My pro-Erin friend who owns every motion and every fashion item!

First up, I’ve brought in the greeting assistant instructor!!! “Hello, I’m your pro assistant instructor.”

“It’s a huge honor to serve as a pro assistant instructor for the Nexon PEAK Post Challenge.”

Assistant instructor is so happy they’re literally hopping up and down lol

(It’s way cuter as a gif,, such a shame,, and if a tiny 10-year-old character does this it’s seriously even cuter)

“I brought a bouquet for all of you.”

(These motions aren’t just static either, they all actually move, which makes them even prettier..

I’m sooo sad I can’t show you gifs…)

Such a lively motion... it really feels like little sprouts are shooting right up! Looks like it’s meant to show spring sprouts.

Motion name: /GrowingSprout

“The motion team is insanely good at their job.” It’s a motion where you blow dandelion seeds! So cuteee… And there are tons more like this too: one where you blow flower petals around, balloons, celebratory stuff, party poppers spraying everywhere, opening them up, even bursting a fanfare thingy... there’s a lot!

(One of my personal favorite motions) Wanna guess what this one’s called~?

TEEN TOP - Clap

EXO - Overdose

You know that super dynamic clapping move from TEEN TOP - Clap..?

Or the clapping choreo from EXO - Overdose…

If you’re around my age you probably know exactly what I mean,, doesn’t it look the same..? That’s why I like it so much.

Anyway, turns out this motion is called CatchFirefly~

So all that clapping was actually catching fireflies~

Usually when you use a motion, it’s just your character doing the action, but the Mobinogi motion team

goes the extra mile and sets up surrounding props like this too, which I love because it makes the whole thing feel way more real!

Since it’s a speech, a whole podium appears too, so it kind of feels like you’re preaching like some cult leader, right?!

How about a nice warm drink in winter.,,, I keep thinking it’s cocoa, personally, but

apparently it’s called DrinkTea, so come have a warm cup in Mobinogi~

You can’t watch a movie without popcorn, right? And they’re even properly wearing 3D glasses instead of just watching a regular 2D movie.

This game really knows how to serve motions~

There are lots of chomp-chomp eating motions too, like eating watermelon,

And this is another one of my personal favorites! The different facial expressions are absolutely the best part!

There are lots of other “using stuff” motions too, like using an umbrella, using a lotus leaf, and all kinds of other things!

There are tons of dance motions too! V-step dance, hip-hop dance, wiggle wiggle, two-step dance, frenzy dance, ocean dance, twist dance, and even the trendy para para dance these days (Flutter Flutter Dance)!

There are also motions where two people interact together, so they’re great for taking pics and messing around with friends

The kind of person who takes photos very, very seriously? Yep, that’s me

Besides these, there are also motions that show actions, like Cheer Wave (a motion where you wave a cheering light stick), SpinningAroundSometimes (doing a happy little twirl), card magic, plate spinning, and so on, and of course there are emotion-based motions too!

What makes the motions in Mabinogi Mobile feel extra special is how they go from simple little emotion motions to all kinds of actions and expressions, while also using a huge variety of props! The Mobinogi motion team is absolutely, undeniably serious about motions!

So yeah... everybody come play Mobinogi, where the motions are ridiculously cute~
