Today we’re gonna do a little deep dive into Elsword’s voice actors.

I’m basically one of those ancient relics from the tail end of the so-called Tooniverse golden age generation, aka the kind of person who grew up obsessively watching anime on channels like Tooniverse, Champ, Anibox, Jaeneung Broadcasting, and all that good stuff.

So whenever I’m playing different games, there are way too many moments where I suddenly go hold up, this voice is?! and immediately get that spark of recognition, you know?

And Elsword? This game didn’t just put wings on characters who were already crazy charming, it practically strapped on a jetpack and blasted them into space with how many famous voice actors it brought in, so let’s get into it.

Like, how absurdly stacked is this game’s voice cast, you ask?

Jung Yumi, Lee Jiyoung, Jung Misook, Park Seongtae, Woo Jeongsin, Yang Jeonghwa, Yeo Minjeong, Cha Myeonghwa, Jeong Jaeheon, Kim Hyeonji, Kim Yeongsin, Lee Yongsin, Kim Seungjun, Jang Yena, Kim Saea, Kim Yeonwoo…

Seriously, what a lineup. But if the names alone aren’t enough to make it click, then okay, let’s spell it out.

Jung Yumi = Crayon Shin-chan - Yuri / Shiro

Lee Jiyoung = Daa! Daa! Daa! - Kang Yena

Jung Misook = One Piece - Nami, Inuyasha - Kagome

Park Seongtae = Yumeiro Patissiere - Rojin

Woo Jeongsin = Inuyasha - Sango

Yang Jeonghwa = Sgt. Frog

And that’s still only a tiny slice of it, these are seriously high-profile voice actors with iconic roles in hit after hit after hit.

What makes it even better is that the voice actors themselves seem to genuinely enjoy playing our Elsword characters and really care about them too, and honestly, that feels like such a huge, deep honor.

And we even get this rare, blessed spectacle of the voice actors personally doing fanservice through song like this..!!

And that’s not all, there are tons of videos on the Nexon Elsword channel where the voice actors go all in too, so definitely give them a watch sometime because the hype hits hard and it’s just so good.

Our Elsword voice actors are seriously famous and seriously expensive, so the fact that KOG keeps putting in the effort to cast them like this has me ridiculously excited for what voices we’ll get next and what kind of performances they’ll bring.
