[PEAK Challenge] Solo games for introverts—made just for introverts

You’re not only playing one game, right?

I rotate between console, pc, and mobile games myself.

But every now and then, I run into a game that practically demands party play,

and as soon as I get a taste of how stressful team play can be, I end up dropping it.

So for me, one of the biggest factors when choosing a game now is whether it can be played solo.

With that in mind, the game I want to recommend today is MapleStory!

1. Party play that never feels forced

Bossing is one of MapleStory’s main pieces of content,

but unlike other raids that rely heavily on party-based mechanics,

it’s built in a way that still lets you handle mechanics on your own.

That means you don’t have to feel pressured about party play,

and if you learn the patterns properly,

you can absolutely enjoy it at your own pace without pushing yourself too hard.

2. Free customization exactly the way you want

Of course, if bossing doesn’t really interest you,

you might think MapleStory won’t be your kind of game,

but there’s a lot more to it than that!

You can have fun putting together looks like this and showing off your personality in different ways,

3. You can get rich—I’m basically a wholesaler

You can gather a wide range of materials and level up your proficiency,

then work your way up until you’re able to craft top-tier potions,

and sell the potions you made to other users through the Auction House,

earning a huge amount of meso (MapleStory currency) along the way!

With that, you can pick up all kinds of outfit items and even buy equipment too.

4. Let’s chase the ultimate dopamine hit

This is also one of what I’d call MapleStory’s real highlights.

It’s the system called Cubes!!

Your equipped gear and accessories have something called Potential,

which lets you add options that make your equipment stronger.

Using meso earned from bosses or gathering, you can reroll your gear’s options,

and enjoy that slightly reckless kind of fun while you do it!

And if you get lucky and land a great option, you even get to show it off!

You can really feel that peak dopamine rush.

Beyond that, there’s also Monster Collection, Dimensional Library, and more.

There’s a lot of different content to enjoy,

so why not explore MapleStory for yourself and discover it as you go?
