One thing that really boosts story immersion in an RPG is voice acting.

No matter how incredible the graphics and presentation are, if a character’s emotions don’t land properly,

the fun of the story naturally takes a big hit.

Mabinogi Mobile clearly put a lot of care into this, adding

voice acting to the main story and key NPCs.

Thanks to that, the characters’ personalities and emotions come through much more naturally, and it honestly feels a bit like watching an animated series!

As of now, the developers still haven’t officially revealed the full voice actor list for every character yet!

Most of the time, you hear the voice acting while clearing the main quest!

But there are also moments where you can hear their voices in everyday play too!

For starters, the NPCs in Mabinogi Mobile greet you both when you show up and when you head out!!

So, want to take a look together at the characters I like most and run into the most often!

• Dugald Aisle Elvin

Elvin in Dugald Aisle is an NPC I see every single day!

Because you can trade 2 Stir-fried Vegetables for 8 Fine Lumber every day! (life skill pro tip)

What’s funny is,, some of those lines feel way too real!

Just like in the screenshot, they’ve got these weirdly realistic lines,,,

Office workers, you know exactly what I mean…

Housework and job stuff,, all of it,,, just way too relatable…..

• Dunbarton Evan

Evan, the city hall staffer in Dunbarton, is an NPC I see every week!

I usually run into him when I go claim my weekly loot box!

Each time, he welcomes me with a voice that’s businesslike but still kind,

and anyone who works in customer service.. you get it too…

Evan has that realistic speaking style too!!

• Blacksmiths

After rune engraving, when you end up cursed, they actually apologize,,,

It’s okay,,, just let the enhancement go through, Osla,,,

I really feel like the blacksmiths in each town are probably the NPCs every player sees the most often

When enhancement succeeds, when it fails, when you’re doing rune engraving, and all that

They always throw in a little comment, so I end up cracking a smile pretty often

• When Chance Encounters trigger somewhere

“Good to see you~ That’s reassuring!”

“Hey~ Let’s do well together! Our side’s here!”

“Nice~ Let’s really teach them a lesson together~ Let’s do this~”

You get voice lines like these!

And then when you clear a dungeon through a Chance Encounter like this,

“This is exciting! We did it together!”

“Nice job, that was thrilling.” “Good work, everyone”

“Now this is teamwork” “I liked fighting together”

All those different voice lines make Chance Encounters feel really vivid!

So whether we’re logging into the game or clearing the main story,

huge thanks to the devs for working hard to give us even a little more fun and immersion,

and thanks as well to all the voice actors whose performances really stand out!!

Personally, I like Emain Macha Delen,, she’s pretty,,, ahem
