Today, we’ll be taking a look at Maple Planet. Among the warrior classes, you have Dark Knight, Paladin, and Hero. That said, the Cygnus Knights also include a warrior class: Soul Master, the Knight of Light. It’s a hybrid melee damage dealer that combines the strengths of a standard warrior with the unique utility of the Cygnus Knights. In this guide, we’ll go over the Maple Planet Soul Master skill build.

1st Job Skills

Power Strike 1 → Slash Blast 1 → Improving Max HP 10(M) → Slash Blast 20(M) → Power Strike 20(M) → Iron Body 11

This is the recommended 1st job build. Start by putting 1 point into each attack skill, then max out Improving Max HP. The reason is simple: it helps with HP sustain early on. With more stable survivability, you can get through the early levels much more smoothly.

2nd Job Skills

Soul Blade 10 → Sword Mastery 5 → Sword Booster 6 → Soul Blade 30(M) → Sword Mastery 20(M) → Soul Rush 10(M) → Rage 20(M) → Final Attack 30(M) → Sword Booster 11

For 2nd job, follow this skill order. In particular, Soul Blade is worth prioritizing because it is extremely effective for mobbing. It’s a ranged attack that can hit up to 5 monsters, which makes it very useful for training. Also, starting in 2nd job, Soul Master gains a mobility skill similar to a mage’s Teleport or a thief’s Flash Jump. That skill is Soul Rush. Use Soul Rush to move around the map more quickly.

3rd Job Skills

Soul Driver (M) → Combo Attack(M) → Improved MP Recovery 11 → Brandish(M) → Improved MP Recovery (M) -> Advanced Combo(M) → Soul Charge(M) → Panic or Coma (M) → Final Attack (M)→ Distribute freely

Finally, here is the 3rd job skill build for Soul Master. Once Soul Driver becomes available, training becomes much more efficient. After investing in Improved MP Recovery and reaching level 100, put points into Brandish. Brandish is a core damage skill that hits multiple enemies twice, so the standard approach is to save skill points in advance for it. Once you reach level 110, you should invest in Advanced Combo right away. Keep in mind that this means you’ll need to manage your skill points carefully along the way.

Panic or Coma can be chosen based on personal preference. That said, I would personally go with Coma, since Soul Driver and Brandish are already available.
