Hello, this is Game Sky.

Mapleland 2.0 is finally here. The long-awaited 2.0 officially launched on June 19. Of course, it’s currently under maintenance, so I haven’t been able to try it myself just yet, but it’s still exciting to see it finally go live. Once maintenance ends, I’ll be jumping in myself. On top of that, there’s also the new Burning World event, which looks pretty rewarding. Today, let’s take a look at Mapleland 2.0 and Burning World.

So, let’s get started.

Mapleland 2.0 has finally launched. It went live on June 19, and now that the long-awaited update is here, it’s getting a lot of attention. I haven’t had time to play it myself yet, but I’m still very excited that it’s finally available. A lot has changed this time around.

What Changed

There are a lot of changes in this update. Mini Dungeons have been added, along with the Chaos Zakum boss, a macro system, the Auction House feature, and multi-pet support. Personally, I think the Auction House addition is especially great. It’s nice to be able to trade much more conveniently.

And then there are the new classes: Pirate and the Cygnus Knights. New classes have finally arrived in Mapleland. On top of that, the new map Temple of Time has also been added. When you think of MapleStory, Temple of Time is one of those unforgettable maps, so it’s great to finally see it here.

Burning World

And of course, there’s the event as well: Burning World. The event runs from June 19 to September 11. So, let’s quickly go over what it includes.

The Burning Buff is a special bonus that only applies in Burning World. According to the details, characters under level 120 receive 1.5x EXP, along with buffs to attack power, magic power, movement speed, and jump.

You also receive rewards for reaching certain levels. Starting at level 10, potions are given out, which should make the early game a bit easier when potion costs can feel pretty heavy. From level 20 onward, you can receive a Burning weapon or a 2x EXP coupon. Absolute Pitch and Dark Crystal are also given out as well.

There’s also a coin shop. Absolute Pitch can be used to buy items there. Available rewards include Select Inventory Slot Expansion Coupons, AP and SP Reset Scrolls, Maple Ring, Wild Wolf’s Hood, and Marshmallow. So yes, you’ll definitely want to collect plenty of Absolute Pitch.

Wrapping Up

Today, we took a look at Mapleland 2.0 and the Burning World event. Quite a few players have struggled with Mapleland’s high barrier to entry, right? Now, there’s a little less reason to worry. With the Burning World event here, this might not be a bad time to think about making a return.

That’s all from Game Sky. Thank you!
