Is there any game this dedicated to supporting returning players?

I’d love to recommend Nexon’s fantasy life MMORPG <Mabinogi>, which has been sincerely looking after new players for 22 years.

Hello! I started playing Mabinogi back in elementary school, and I’ve now been with it for more than 15 years.

I’m a devoted Milletian, <고양이설이>.

Mabinogi is one of Nexon’s signature RPGs, and chances are you’ve heard of it at least once.

You might feel that pull of nostalgia and want to try it again, only to wonder, “Hasn’t it changed a lot?”

For many people, that worry alone is enough to make returning feel a little daunting.

I actually run a Mabinogi YouTube channel, and while livestreaming on CHZZK,

I spend a lot of time talking with other players.

One question I hear especially often is, “Is this game worth playing these days?”

To give you the short answer first, “Yes. Mabinogi really has become worth playing again.”

If you played in the past, you’ll probably notice quite a few changes compared with the old days. Let me share a few of the main reasons I’ve personally felt while playing.

<1> Blaanid’s Growth Support

“Blaanid’s Growth Support,” where you help recover Blaanid’s memories while receiving all kinds of assistance,

is Mabinogi’s tutorial-style content. As you work through the quests, you naturally learn a variety of skills,

along with useful items and all sorts of information that help with life in Erinn,

so it’s a major help for both new players and returning ones.

<2> Essential Quests

The recently added essential quests are also a big help when it comes to a Milletian’s growth.

In the past, raising your cumulative level took quite a bit of effort, but now, simply by progressing through the essential quests,

you can reach cumulative level 20,000 without too much difficulty. On top of that, certain talents receive growth support all the way to the Master stage, so you can feel the fun of progressing much faster than before.

<3> Summer Fever Season

Fever Season, which was once called “Pre-Season,” is also set to begin this coming July.

With generous rewards and a wide range of growth support events arriving together,

I think it’s an especially good time for anyone who used to enjoy Mabinogi to jump back in.
