Mabinogi Mobile totally made me realize growth-style RPGs are even more fun than sports games!!

I used to be 100% a sports game person, no question.

But after starting Mabinogi Mobile, that thinking changed a lot!

Turns out, the fun of slowly building up one character is way better than I expected~

The core of sports games is that instant competitive rush

That dopamine burst when you win~~!!

The mind games with your opponent, plus the fact that matches are over fast, were such big strengths too (not that I actually stopped after just one short session and logged off ㅋㅋㅋ)

But honestly, sports games that are all about deciding a winner...

can get really stressful too.

Especially in team matches, I felt super guilty a lot of the time when we lost because I played badly.

The fun of an RPG where you grow stronger little by little!

The very first thing that hooked me in Mabinogi Mobile was watching my combat power go up.

Switch to better runes and your combat power goes up, enhance your gear and it jumps again!!

Because I could actually see myself getting stronger little by little, I always had another goal to chase.

That feeling of clearing those goals one by one was way bigger than I expected.

The stronger you get, the more places you can go

As my combat power went up, more and more content opened up for me to challenge.

Even raids that felt tough at first

became clearable one by one as I got my gear sorted out, swapped my runes, and kept steadily growing stronger.

Clearing bosses with my party later on—the same bosses I used to hesitate to even enter—felt seriously rewarding.

Every time, I’d think, “Man, I’m really glad I put in the work to raise this character!”

When I see

"Great job!" show up in chat after taking down a boss,

it just feels so good^//^

Now my taste in games has completely changed

Seeing my character grow a little every day, clearing raids one by one,

and making memories with friends really feels like the charm of a growth-style RPG.

And when I dress them up nicely too, it honestly feels like I’m raising this character like my own kid, so I get soooo attached~

Even just seeing them while hunting is such a visual treat, and honestly it’s pure healingㅎㅎ

I used to think sports games were the absolute best, but

after playing Mabinogi Mobile, I’m really starting to fully get the unique charm of RPGs!
