[Participating in the Nexon PEAK Post Challenge]

Hi everyone!

Today I want to introduce a game I absolutely love!

If you’ve played your fair share of games, you’ve probably

heard of this one at least once, and yep, it’s MapleStory.

It’s fun even when you’re playing solo, but with friends,

MapleStory really hits different and the synergy is so good!

So, want to check out what makes it so charming with me?

➊ Wearing matching outfits with a friend

One of the best things about gaming with a friend is that

“it’s still fun even if you’re not doing anything productive and just chatting.” In that sense, I honestly think MapleStory is one of the absolute best games to enjoy with friends ദ്ദി( ¯꒳¯ )

MapleStory has all kinds of beauty items for changing your face, hair, and skin, plus a huge variety of dress-up • outfit items like hats, clothes, shoes, capes, effects, and more. (And the free items they give out during events are seriously super cute too!)

And now there’s even Coloring Prism / Coloring Prism Pro, which lets you change the colors of dress-up items however you want, so there are even more ways to show off your own style.

Being able to match colors with your friends, wear coordinated dyed outfits, and take pretty pictures together to save the memories... isn’t that just the best? ♡



There’s honestly nothing more healing than seeing these super cute, tiny chibi characters

running around in matching outfits together.

➋ Enjoying event maps



One of MapleStory’s big strengths is that

it gets all kinds of different maps updated with each season.

This photo is from when a friend and I checked out the town updated for the Halloween season and took a commemorative picture inside the pumpkin carriage, and seriously... isn’t it so cute?

Of course it’s still plenty fun on your own too, but cuteness always doubles when you share it with someone!

I really hope you get to wander around newly added event maps with your friends,

find pretty photo spots, and take pictures together.

➌ All kinds of party play, including boss fights

MMORPGs obviously wouldn’t be complete without party play, right? MapleStory has all kinds of bosses. Solo play is totally possible too, but as your level and specs go up, there are definitely moments where doing everything alone starts to feel rough, and at times like that, I really think the easiest and least stressful answer is ‘doing it together with close friends’.

You can do high-EXP content together with friends,

put together a party and jump into seasonal events,

It might not look efficient, but sometimes

it’s fun to just charge in blindly without a guide and learn by smashing into things too,



and even quests I probably would’ve gotten tired of and given up on alone, we cleared them by cheering each other on, and then enjoyed wearing the reward items we got from them too, and honestly, all of those moments felt special because we were together (˶ ᴖ ᴖ ˶)

And on top of that,

the various collabs with other Nexon games you can experience in MapleStory were even more fun because I got to enjoy them with friends too!

➍ A variety of content, including minigames



When people think of MapleStory content, one of the first things that comes to mind is probably jump maps like Forest of Patience • Pet Walking Road. Quests that probably would’ve just made me mad halfway through and made me quit if I were alone can feel way more fun with friends, like when you turn them into little bets and challenges,

and when you do them together as a group, the whole experience feels a lot more positive!



There’s also the rock-paper-scissors match with Fame on the line as the reward,

and One Card, which is also one of the games Adventurers really like,

is another bit of content that’s super fun to enjoy with friends!

I really, really love this game, so I wanted to introduce it well, but I’m not sure if I got that across properly T . T
