Maple Planet Nautilus: Clean Up the Nautilus Quest Guide

Hello, this is Game Sky.

Today, I’m returning to Maple Planet after a while. Last time, I pulled a prank on Calico with Bartol, the troublemaker carrying a small treasure chest. Since the reward was not especially good, that quest felt more like a filler quest. This time, I’ll be going over Cleaning Up the Nautilus, a quest from Reed, the cleaner NPC on the Nautilus.

Let’s get started.

Table of Contents

  • First Quest

  • Second Quest

  • Third Quest

  • Wrapping Up

First Quest

Reed, the cleaning lady, was in the middle of tidying up. But the dust just kept coming no matter how much she wiped, and her rag ended up completely worn out. She seems to be in quite a hurry.

When the player offers to get her another rag, Reed says she has heard that Ribbon Pig ribbons are very helpful for cleaning dust. She then asks for 50 Ribbon Pig Ribbons.

Ribbon Pigs can be found in the Mini-Dungeon. Go to Henesys Pig Farm, hunt Ribbon Pigs, and collect the ribbons there. One thing to note is that you must create a party before entering the Mini-Dungeon.

That clears the first quest without much trouble. The reward is 5,200 EXP, which is still fairly low even with an EXP buff.

Second Quest

When the player goes back to Reed, she asks what the problem is this time. It looks like she has been having a hard time because of rats.

Capture_2026_0613_223519Capture_2026_0613_223530

She explains that the Nautilus spends a lot of time underwater, so rats usually are not a problem there. But when it is on land, the place is crawling with them. This time, she asks the player for 50 Mousetraps.

To collect Mousetraps, you need to head to the 100th Floor of Eos Tower. Defeat Ratz there to gather them. Since Ratz is a level 32 monster, the hunt is not especially difficult.

After returning, Reed says she likes how quickly the work gets done. The reward this time is 28,000 EXP, so it is definitely much better than the previous quest.

Third Quest

In the third quest, the player notices a terrible smell. The cause turns out to be an NPC named Jack. Reed describes him as a walking germ.

Reed then asks you to go to Sleepywood and get some Pure Water. After that, she tells you to bring it back and splash it on Jack.

Pure Water is sold by Mr. Shioonhae. It costs 1,650 mesos, which is fairly expensive for a consumable item. Still, since you only need to buy one, it is not too burdensome.

When you go to Jack, the player immediately splashes the water on him.

But Jack is completely unaffected. He really is a walking germ. In any case, the reward here is 28,000 EXP.

Wrapping Up

Today, I went over the Cleaning Up the Nautilus quest. This one also feels like a filler quest. Even after making the long trip to Ludibrium, the rewards are not very generous, so it does not seem like a quest you need to go out of your way to do.

This has been Game Sky. Thank you!
