DNF Mobile has started the Snow Mage's Mysterious Adventure event. Based on my own playthrough, I've put together a guide on how to raise the cute Snow Mage and collect the rewards efficiently.

Basic Progression

Your goal is to build up the Snow Mage and clear Stage 20-1.

Stages 1-1 through 1-7 are normal stages. To clear them, you need to defeat all of the regular monsters pouring in from every direction within 1 minute.

Stage 1-8 is a boss stage. Defeat the single boss within 1 minute to clear it, then move on to Stage 2-1 and repeat the same cycle.

Which advancement is best?

Snow Mage can advance at level 10 for the 1st advancement, level 50 for the 2nd advancement, and level 75 for the 3rd advancement. There are five advancement types in total, and the combination I recommend most for the early game is 울먹법 and 우울한법.

The other advancements use an active skill every 4 seconds, but 울먹법 and 우울한법 use passive skills that trigger every 0.5 seconds and deal AoE damage equal to 25% of Attack Power to all enemies within 500px. They have the widest range and never have to worry about missing, which makes them the most efficient choice for pushing normal stages.

That said, this setup is built around AoE damage, so it tends to be weaker on boss stages. If boss stages start slowing your progress after the 2nd advancement, you can consider spending 3,000 Tera each to switch to 부끄러법 and 계란모법. The tradeoff is that normal stages will become harder.

If you keep switching between 울먹법+우울한법 for normal stages and 부끄러법+계란모법 for boss stages, you may be able to reach the ending right away, but it will cost a lot of Tera.

Since the event period is fairly generous, there is no real need to rush. A good middle-ground option is the 부끄러법+우울한법 combination, and if you still get stuck, raise your level, equip higher-grade gear, and work through it steadily.

How should you build it?

Spend 40 Fatigue in the daily dungeon each day to earn EXP and Bobkseu, the material used for gear enhancement. EXP and Bobkseu also build up based on your offline time (up to 12 hours).

Gear is obtained through draws by spending 500 Fatigue each day.

As you keep drawing, your draw level increases, and higher levels unlock higher-grade gear. Unique weapons start appearing from draw level 5, and Epic gear starts appearing from draw level 7. The higher your draw level goes, the better the odds become as well.

For the best piece of gear you get, make sure to press the 'Equip' button. Even if you do not equip an item, it still provides ownership effects, so it is also worth improving your overall enhancement.

Enhancement priority is the gear you will actually wear first, then Common and Uncommon gear, then Rare gear. Still, since Bobkseu is usually plentiful, you do not need to follow that order too strictly.

Saving them up because I'm trying to reach 50 Cuteness

Allocate your stats to match your chosen advancement. 우울한법 requires 50 HP, 계란모법 requires 50 Cuteness, and 슈퍼마법법 requires 100 Attack Power.

If you have already completed all advancements and reset your stats by spending 3,000 Tera, it is best to put everything into Attack Power. On boss stages, you generally will not run into HP issues as long as your control is good enough to avoid the floor patterns.

For skills, just spend your SP right away and upgrade them whenever you level up.

How do you claim the rewards?

You get 2 Mysterious Tickets for every 1 Fatigue spent on gear draws. That means if you use all 500 Fatigue each day, you will earn 1,000 tickets.

Tickets can be used in the event shop. The items worth prioritizing first are the level 70 Fancy Epic Gear Pot with a weekly purchase limit that resets, the Weekly Dungeon Extra Entry Ticket Generator, and Catalysts. After that, buy whichever other items you need.

Meanwhile, you can get the 8-bit Female Mage Hat Avatar just by starting the event.

I claimed it on my main, Elementalist, without thinking much about it at first, then later realized to my dismay that it can also be applied to characters other than Female Mage. Since this is a chance to use a Female Mage face on a non-Female Mage character, it is worth deciding in advance which character you want to claim it on.

If you complete the Snow Mage's 3rd advancement and clear the final boss, you can also get the Snowman Body Avatar and the Snow Mage Creature Box. You can buy 10 additional Snow Mage Creature Boxes from the event shop, which means you can collect 11 out of the total 14 types. Be sure to grab every one available so you can collect as many as possible.

Wrapping up

The DNF Mobile Snow Mage's Mysterious Adventure event runs from June 11 to 6:00 AM on July 23. There is plenty of time, so there is no need to rush. Take it at your own pace, enjoy the event, and make sure to collect the rewards.
