When you’re making your adventurer character, the hardest part is picking a class!

If you’re not sure which job group to start with, I totally recommend the Freezing Mage~

Today, I’m going to give you a light intro to what kind of class the Freezing Mage is,

and what makes it so charming😉⛄

First off, the Freezing Mage is part of the mage family,

and it’s a class that uses an orb and a sword to fight enemies up close.

If you’re just starting out in Mabinogi Mobile, hearing “mage” by itself

can make you assume it’s a ranged class, or mistake it for a pure damage dealer.

One thing you absolutely need to know first: the Freezing Mage is a melee tank!

Even though it’s a mage, the fact that it sticks right to enemies and fights with a sword

felt super unique to me, and that’s exactly why I chose it.

It instantly gave me that magical swordsman vibe, you know~

Let’s take a look at what kind of skills it uses in the class introduction video!

True to the name Freezing Mage, it’s a class that specializes in the ice element,

which means it’s basically perfect for hot summer days like these😏👍

Its specialty is freezing enemies with crisp-bursting snow crystals and ice shards,

then triggering Break to leave them stuck in place and unable to move.

If you fill up the Break gauge above an enemy’s head all the way,

you can put them into a groggy state where they’re stunned and unable to move,

and skills that fill that gauge quickly are called Break skills.

The Freezing Mage is one of several classes that specialize in Break skills,

so in certain content, it’s often brought along as a must-have party member.

On top of that, it also has a skill that makes Break hit even harder,

‘Break Extend,’

which lets you keep enemies in the Break state for even longer!

This skill, often nicknamed “Brik,” is something only the Freezing Mage, Warrior, and Knight have,

so you can think of it as a special tank-only ability.

Want to take a closer look at the weapon~?

This is what the base weapon looks like.

The standout points are its icy blue color and the rounded orb shape.

If you equip a fashion weapon that changes your weapon’s appearance,

you can style it in all kinds of different ways to match your taste~

At first, the blade and orb parts of the Freezing Mage weapon couldn’t be dyed,

so they were locked to blue and kept that natural icy color,

but now those parts have been updated so you can dye them however you want!

So go wild and dye your weapon in your favorite color to show off your own style😉

So, if I had to sum up the Freezing Mage’s biggest strengths and signature traits~

• It’s hard to die, so it feels super comfy to play!

• It can handle tanking sections all on its own!

• It really shines in Abyss, raids, and especially higher-end content thanks to its Break skills!

I’d say that’s the gist of it😀
