On June 4, Mabinogi Mobile introduced Red-Eyed Glas Ghaibhleann, a new raid that serves as the grand finale of Season 1.

Compared to every boss released so far, this one is on a completely different level right from the recommended combat power, and the boss itself comes with an incredible spec sheet featuring well over 70,000 HP bars.

Today, I’m sharing my experience of challenging Red-Eyed Glas Ghaibhleann with my guildmates to see just how much stronger I became throughout Season 1.

Season 1 Finale Raid

Red-Eyed Glas Ghaibhleann

Red-Eyed Glas Ghaibhleann is only available in a single difficulty: Very Hard. The required combat power is 64,000, the recommended combat power is 66,000, and the overwhelming combat power benchmark climbs all the way to 75,000.

Considering that the overwhelming combat power for the previously released Very Hard Tabhartas was 62,100, it’s fair to say this raid is more than twice as demanding. That’s also why the reward isn’t progression material like runes or enchants, but instead a costume that feels much closer to an honor reward.

I run raids with my guildmates every Monday, and this week we chose Red-Eyed Glas Ghaibhleann as our first objective.

The opening stage is identical to the standard Glas Ghaibhleann, so it isn’t hard to get through even on auto-battle. The real test is the boss itself, after all.

It makes an impact the moment it appears. True to the name Red-Eyed, major parts of its body shine with an intense red glow.

Its attack patterns are the same as the Very Hard Glas Ghaibhleann released in Season 0. However, its HP has increased to a completely incomparable degree. Even so, because players have also grown dramatically over the course of Season 1, the actual difficulty felt similar to facing Glas Ghaibhleann back then.

Thanks to that, we brought it down more easily than expected. Quite a few of my guildmates had only started at the beginning of Season 1, but they’ve already grown into the mid-60,000 range and become truly dependable party members, which felt especially reassuring.

Subjugation Rewards

The weekly clear reward is the Red-Eyed Glas Ghaibhleann Costume Selection Box. Since it’s purely a cosmetic item and doesn’t contribute to stat growth, it’s much closer to a prestige-style reward.

There’s also an event mission running in two rounds: the first from June 4 to 15, and the second from the 15th to the 29th. If you successfully defeat Red-Eyed Glas Ghaibhleann, you can earn a Costume Selection Box in the first round and a Special Trophy Selection Box in the second.
