MapleStory: DEAR MY HERO Theatrical Release Schedule and Trailer Review Guide
게임하늘

Hello, this is GameSky.
Today, we’re taking a look at MapleStory again after quite a while. The MapleStory theatrical animation is reportedly set to premiere this June, and its title is Dear My Hero. There was a MapleStory animated series back in the 2000s, so this will be the first Maple animation in 19 years. This time, I’ll be going over the release schedule and trailer.
So, let’s get started.

A MapleStory animation is finally returning after a long time, and Dear My Hero has now been revealed. Its release date is June 14, 2026, and it will be shown exclusively at Lotte Cinema. So if you want to watch it, you’ll need to book through Lotte Cinema. Now, let’s take a look at the trailer.

First, we see several very familiar names pass by—Cygnus, Jigmund, and Helena—followed by the game’s main protagonist, the Adversary. Then the film’s protagonist and his companions appear, watching them.

After seeing the Adversary, the film’s protagonist gives off the impression that he’s made up his mind about something. For reference, the protagonist’s name is Aidan, the female character’s name is Roen, and the one who seems to be his close friend is named Kurtz. They appear to be soldiers affiliated with the Cygnus Knights.

Aidan trains harder than before and fights intensely on what looks to be Black Heaven. At the same time, though, he also seems to make some reckless moves.

Lastly, the trailer ends with Aidan saying, “For Maple World.” The setting also appears to be Limen, the site of the final battle against the Black Mage. In any case, that wraps up the trailer.

As for the event items, there are posters, film strips, and combo sets. Out of those, the combo set catches my attention the most because of the figure keycaps. The Orange Mushroom and Pink Bean keycaps are especially appealing.

The merchandise lineup is just as varied. The one that stands out the most to me is the Adventurer figure, which looks very well made. It’s enough to make me want to head straight to the cinema store. On top of that, they’ll also be selling a wide range of other goods, including Cygnus Knights capes, postcard books, God pouches, and more.

Today, I went over the release schedule for the MapleStory theatrical film Dear My Hero, along with a review of the trailer, the event items, and the goods. Since I’ve long been very interested in Maple animation, I’m especially excited for this one. Next time, I’ll head to Lotte Cinema, book a ticket, and watch it for myself. I should also leave a viewing review afterward.
This has been GameSky. Thank you!
