MapleStory has so many different areas, and when I spotted a keyword mission about places with beautiful night views,

I thought I’d share a few of the nighttime scenic spots I know in MapleStory.

MapleStory 23rd Anniversary Event Map: Seokchon Lake at Night

This is the MapleStory 23rd anniversary event map I shared for last week’s “Virtual Vacation” keyword mission,

and with the change from day to night, Seokchon Lake now has some beautiful nighttime scenery.

Head up high on the event map and you can watch a dazzling fireworks display,

so I took some screenshots of the fireworks from the top of Lotte World Tower, and they turned out so pretty!

Lotte World Tower also lights up beautifully at night, giving it a different look from the daytime,

and a look around Seokchon Lake at night reveals that Lotte World Tower isn’t the only thing lit up—

you’ll find buildings and installations bathed in a soft glow like this throughout the area.

My personal favorites were the drone formations of Stone Spirit, Orange Mushroom, Yeti, and Slime!

They reminded me of the MapleStory drone show held in Seongnam a while back, which was lovely.

The MapleStory 23rd anniversary event runs until June 17, which means this map will be gone the week after next,

so be sure to visit Seokchon Lake at night before then and take plenty of pretty screenshots.

Magatia

I first got to know this area through the Magatia storyline, one of MapleStory’s main questlines,

and while Magatia is famous for its well-crafted story quests, it’s also known for its beautiful night views.

This is the only place where you can see a full moon hanging in the dark night sky,

and letting your mind wander as you gaze at the bright full moon and twinkling stars feels a little like watching a campfire.

It’s long been known as a great spot for night views, but with little reason to visit these days, many players don’t seem to know about it.

I hope this inspires you to stop by and take some pretty screenshots with the bright full moon as your backdrop.
