A collection of MapleStory map tours with gorgeous night views!

Hello to all my fellow Nexon game fans,

Jaepamin here!

I haven’t been feeling my best lately, so I’ve been going on a lot of evening walks. After climbing up a hill, just sitting there and looking out at the colorful night view feels really healing.

There are a lot of places like that in games too, and since I play MapleStory a lot, I wanted to share a few of my favorite night-view spots there.

Morass - Leaning Tower

The first one is Morass: Leaning Tower. It has this empty, void-like atmosphere, and while the terrain itself is kind of bizarre(?) so it’s never really been a popular hunting map, the design is gorgeous, which gives it a lot of value as an AFK spot.

Magatia

The second pick is Magatia. The whole map feels like evening, and with that big round full moon in the sky, it’s a great place to ride around and take in the scenery. It’s also a really nice spot for group shots with guildmates or friends, so I definitely recommend it!

Kerning City

Kerning City is another night-view spot you really can’t leave out. If you climb all the way to the top, you can also clear the “One Who Has Stood at the Summit” mission, so it’s worth visiting at least once. A lot of players do Star Force here too, so it’s fun to drop by and watch now and then.

The Dual Blade-exclusive map near here is pretty too, so it’s worth checking out while you’re in the area.

Savage Terminal - Outlaw Town

Last up is Savage Terminal, one of my personal favorite night-view spots. It’s the area where I did the prerequisite quests for Ark, who was the first main character I raised, and the map is really pretty because it has this cyberpunk kind of vibe. The neon colors are all bright and colorful.

It used to be a popular low-level power-leveling hunting ground, but these days fewer players really use it, and that honestly makes me a little sad.
