Hello! Here’s a handy roundup of Maple Planet buffs and doping items that are basically natural Wegovy for MapleStory.

Hello!

This is Nexon Picker Fistime.

Lately, natural Wegovy has been all over SNS.

It refers to the soft-boiled egg and olive oil combo

people say gives you a huge feeling of fullness instead of pricey Wegovy.

In MapleStory, there are plenty of powerful buff items

like VIP Buff and Shiny Red Star.

But did you know old-school Maple had things like that too?

Today, I’ve rounded up some useful buff and doping items

in Maple Planet that are basically natural-Wegovy tier.

One click at the general store, done! 딸깍!

Potion and pill doping items

First up is the buff potion series

you can easily pick up at any general store, and each one lasts 3 minutes.

Potion of Agility: Avoidability +5

Potion of Speed: Movement Speed +8

Potion of the Wizard: Magic Attack +5

Potion of the Warrior: Attack Power +5

Potion of the Sharpshooter: Accuracy +5

Honestly, having to re-use them every 3 minutes is a pain,

so not many people actually use them.

At the Ludibrium general store, you can buy the pill versions.

Since they last a full 10 minutes, these are the ones people usually use.

Agility Pill: Avoidability +5

Speed Pill: Movement Speed +10

Wizard’s Pill: Magic Attack +5

Warrior’s Pill: Attack Power +5

Sharpshooter’s Pill: Accuracy +10

Most people use the Speed Pill the most.

The others don’t really see much use, though.

That’s because there are straight-up better options.

Hard to get, but top-tier performance

The real doping items

This is Baby Dragon Food, sold in Leafre.

It boosts Attack Power by 7 for 20 minutes,

making it the best Attack Power buff item in Maple Planet.

For mage classes,

there’s Sage’s Potion, which raises Magic Attack by 10.

But Ice/Lightning and Fire/Poison have

the non-stacking upgrade, Meditation,

and while Clerics do use this sometimes, the 3-minute duration is still annoying.

There’s also a buff item

called Pain Reliever that a surprising number of players don’t even know exists.

It can only be purchased at Omega Sector,

and it raises Physical Defense by 30 for 30 minutes.

Iron Body and Magic Armor give 40 Defense at max level,

so this lets you gain Defense without using either skill,

which means you can save a pet buff slot.

It’s even more useful for archers, thieves, and pirates who don’t have those skills.

Let’s share the joy of hunting Horntail!

Victory of the Horntail Expedition

If you defeat Horntail,

the old-school Maple server raid boss, it grants

a very powerful buff to every user in Leafre.

For a full hour, it gives +30 Physical Attack, +40 Magic Attack,

+200 Physical Defense, and +200 Magic Defense,

so it’s an incredibly strong buff.

It’s especially useful when hunting in late-game maps.

One thing to note: buffs of the same type do not stack,

and in some cases they can overwrite each other, so be careful.

For example, the movement speed pill is outclassed by a thief’s Haste,

and Baby Dragon Food doesn’t stack with a Hero’s Rage skill.

Keep that in mind and make good use of these buffs while hunting!
