How to Reduce Heat While Playing Mobile Games (Feat. Galaxy)
팀쿡

Here are some useful tips for managing heat while playing mobile games.
If you play games on your phone for a long time, the device can gradually become uncomfortably hot.
This can also affect battery life, so it is worth managing properly.
You can reduce heat by changing a few settings. Let’s go through them one by one.
1. Gaming Hub app settings

Gaming Hub → Game Booster → Set the screen refresh rate during gameplay to 60Hz
-
This uses less battery power and helps minimize heat.

While in a game, tap the Gaming Hub icon in the navigation bar.
→ Choose Battery saving from Performance / Balanced / Battery saving
2. In-game graphics settings

In the settings menu, turn off effects and lower the graphics options to the minimum.
-
The game may look a little plain with fewer effects, but this helps reduce heat.

Set effects to transparent, and change the option so only your own skill effects are shown.

In MapleStoryM, there is a power saving mode at the bottom of the hamburger menu.
Power saving mode shows only the minimum necessary information, so it is useful when needed.
3. Settings outside the game

If you enable power saving mode in your phone settings, CPU speed is limited.
Alternatively, if you use maximum power saving mode, only approved apps will run, which is effective for reducing heat.
Other options include minimizing background apps through “Device Care” and lowering the screen resolution.
If you limit performance too much while playing, you may experience frame drop and stuttering,
so it is best to use these settings in a balanced way.
