Hot summer, 3 tips to keep Nexon games from overheating!

Hello to all my fellow Nexon game fans,

Jaepamin here!

It’s gotten seriously hot lately—to the point where afternoons are hitting 30 degrees now. So if you want to game comfortably, you kind of need your own setup for it.

Today, I’m rounding up the setup tips I use in summer to prevent overheating and stay in good condition. Let’s go!

  1. Play mobile on PC

I’m not really a fan of that distinct machine-like noise you get when gaming on a tablet or phone. More than anything, my phone sometimes gets hot enough to genuinely surprise me, so whenever I can, I play mobile games on desktop too.

Luckily, since I’m on a 4060, everything still runs perfectly fine even with 2–3 games open at once.

  1. Sol Janus level 10

No matter the season, if you want to enjoy gaming for the long haul, you’ve got to take care of your wrists too. Especially in MapleStory, the trend these days is hunting with as little movement as possible.

Once you hit that “yeah, you really play Maple” zone at level 285 and up, it’s pretty much essential to raise your Sol Janus skill level to 10. Sol Janus is a placeable skill you can set on the map, and if you use it together with Erda Shower, you can hunt without having to run around the map.

If you equip a vac pet too, picking up Mesos and Erda Fragments gets super easy, so keep that in mind :)

  1. Air conditioner is a must!

Lastly, the most important one: air conditioning! I think once mid-June hits, it gets too hot to get by with just a fan. So I always keep the AC on while I play.

If you set the temperature to 25 degrees and the fan speed to level 1, you can stay cool and game in total comfort. And if you make yourself a bowl of Paldo Bibimmen on top of that, whew~~~ it seriously feels like heaven!

What about you guys? In the brutal summer heat, what do you do to prevent overheating and keep your gaming setup comfy? Thanks for reading~
