Hope you’ve been enjoying a fun and lively life in Erinn!

Did you know May 22 was the ‘International Day for Biological Diversity’~

It’s a day created to spotlight just how important biodiversity preservation really is!

To help protect plants and animals and keep the ecosystem in balance,

let’s take a little time to look around at the many different living things we can find all around us

And as it happens, even in Erinn, where we spend our days adventuring,

there are really so many diverse and distinctive! living things to discover

So let’s all take a moment to think about the many different plants and animals of Erinn together~

Monsters of the Hunting Grounds

Dangerous monsters appear not only in dungeons, but also in all kinds of places close to villages too…

So how about putting together their traits, weaknesses, and more?

If we organized the monsters found in each hunting ground, and even each area within those grounds, into a guidebook,

then handed it out to townsfolk and travelers, incidents and accidents would probably drop in no time~

The monster I’m most curious about is the ‘Ice Bloomrusher’ from Ice Gorge

It seems to be inspired by a real-life carnivorous plant, and while it looks like a flower at first glance,

it moves freely and attacks adventurers, which makes it such a unique little menace

And one more fun detail is,

even though ‘Fierce Blue-Striped Bees’ fly around nearby,

these guys don’t attack them at all

They don’t go after each other, and only target adventurers…

Truly terrifying little things😫

Do they feed on people…? And what would their natural enemy be?

Sometimes when I’m making the rounds through a hunting ground, I suddenly start wondering about these tiny little setting details

Plants of Erinn

There are all kinds of potted plants placed throughout villages and tucked inside buildings too.

Haven’t you ever found yourself wondering what kind of plants they are?

Some of them resemble real plants from our world,

while some feel like unique little varieties that exist only in Mabinogi Mobile

It’d be wonderful if we could observe the many plants of Erinn, give them names, and get a proper plant guidebook

A guide organized by leaf shape would be great,

and one organized by overall color would be lovely too

And on top of that, it’d be so nice if the ones based on real plants also told us exactly which plants inspired them

I want to be the kind of adventurer who gets totally immersed by keeping

the same potted plants from My Home in my real room too😁🍀

Special plants like Mana Herbs would be nice to sort separately from ordinary plants too

There’d be a lot of fun in simply admiring colors and shapes that are hard to come across in real life~

A guidebook collection of Erinn’s mana plants!

I can already tell it would be essential reading for every mage, druid, and healer~

They’re not plants, but how about researching and organizing mushrooms too!

Come to think of it, unlike plants, I don’t think I’ve ever seen real-world mushrooms in Erinn

Most of the mushrooms we’ve been able to obtain in Erinn so far have been unusual species that seem to grow only in Erinn

So how about making a guidebook where we can learn all about these special Erinn-exclusive mushrooms?

You could write down what kind of mushroom it is, where it grows, what it looks like, and what it’s used for,

and also include photo explanations of other dangerous mushrooms that look similar…

An Adventurer’s Companion, Pets

So many different pets have been added by now,

and lots of adventurers are journeying across Erinn together with their pets

They may look like ordinary baby animals,

but they’re actually special creatures with incredible power!

Each one has different abilities too,

so the pets adventurers prefer tend to vary depending on their class

These wonderful little companions stay by an adventurer’s side and lend a hand even in the middle of dangerous battles🥰

But what exactly makes them so different from ordinary animals that they’re this powerful?

And what’s the in-world setting for how adventurers even meet their pets in Erinn?

If you observe wild animals,

most of them seem corrupted, with black masses clinging to them and making them violent.

It even felt like they couldn’t move according to their own will…

And yet the animals we travel with seem far more powerful than wild animals,

but they’re still ‘babies,’ not even fully grown?

The identity of adventurers is already a mystery,

but the identity of the pets who accompany them is just as mysterious too~

There’s already a pet guidebook ready to go,

so you can check at a glance which pets you’ve obtained so far right here

You can also browse which pets you haven’t obtained yet,

and use the preview to see what each animal looks like too

Personally, if I were making my own pet guidebook,

I’d want one where you could remove all the clothes a pet is wearing and see its original appearance

And on top of that, I’d make a separate pet outfit guidebook too,

to keep track of what concept each outfit has and which animal wore it💕

Erinn is full of such fascinating plants and animals!

Some of them looked just like something from the real world,

but there were also really so many unique and personality-filled creatures you can only meet in Erinn!

If Mabinogi Mobile goods ever come out someday,

I found myself hoping we might get an Erinn guidebook like this too

I feel like diving into Erinn’s ecological setting would let us get even more deeply immersed in Mabinogi Mobile~
