Take a virtual vacation with DNF Mobile’s Snow Mage!
네오필

Summer comes to everyone the same way, but how we enjoy it is totally different. For me, nothing beats kicking back at home with the AC on and a game running. And right on time, the SnowMages have dropped into DNF Mobile for summer, bringing plenty of refreshing ice with them.
So I wanted to share a hands-on review of the main events after trying them out myself.
Who Are the SnowMages?

The SnowMage event held last winter in PC DNF
SnowMage isn’t a playable class, but an official mascot character that represents Dungeon&Fighter. It’s a similar case to Jieeng, the new mascot character recently chosen as a DNF ambassador.

Jieeng was even released as a KakaoTalk theme
Up through 2025, there were plenty of offline pop-up stores and events centered around SnowMage, and starting in 2026, the vibe is that Jieeng is stepping in as the successor.

In DNF Mobile, Dirigee—the original character behind Jieeng—doesn’t have that big of a role, so SnowMage showed up as the mascot instead. And if you’re wondering why they appeared in summer instead of winter... well, the answer is basically, “They’re cute, so why not?”
Round and Round Attendance Check

First up, there’s an attendance event that gives you rewards just for logging in. It uses a 16-space board-game format: log in for 1 day and you move 1 space, stay logged in for 2 days in a row and you move 2 spaces, and at 3 consecutive days or more, you move 3 spaces each time. In short, the more consistently you log in, the more rewards you can grab.
The reward is a daily running supply box, and when you open it, you get 10 Data Chips, 20 Castle of the Dead dungeon specialties, and 20 Hell Party invitations. Finish one full lap and you also get 1 Transcendence Stone Particle.

Transcendence Stone Particles are a valuable material used for “Transcendence,” which lets you move Epic gear and Oching크아 (aura, title, creature, artifact) to another character on the same account.
There’s also a 3x EXP buff running during the event period, so it’s a great time to work on alt characters too. I’ve already maxed out every class, so I didn’t do any extra leveling myself, but if you still have a character you haven’t raised yet, this is definitely a good chance to jump in.
Snowflake Exchange Station

At the Snowflake Exchange Station, you can trade Castle of the Dead dungeon materials 1:1 for a Castle of the Dead dungeon specialty selection box. Each character can do this up to 10 times per week, with a maximum of 200 per exchange, which works out to 2,000 materials per week. It makes farming the Epic-grade gear you actually want a lot easier.
That said, crafting still takes a pretty hefty amount of Data Chips, Epic Souls, and Exceed Souls, so don’t spend everything at the exchange too casually—make sure you keep as much as you’ll need.
What Should You Get from the Gear Workshop?

The Gear Workshop is easily the most generous part of this event. That’s because, over four stages, you can directly craft the Radiant Epic gear you want.
Step 1 is picking the SnowMage you want—in other words, choosing which dungeon the gear comes from.

Step 2 is randomly selecting the part you want using snowballs, with three given out each day. Since parts that have already appeared won’t show up again, it’s random, but still relatively easy to target the piece you need.

Step 3 is where you choose prefixes like Guardian and Distortion, or Blood Poison and Fortitude.

Step 4 is the final completion stage. Once you finish claiming it, the item is sent to your Adventurer Group mailbox, so you need to log in on the character that actually needs it before receiving it.

This is where you snipe that one missing piece.
By the time maintenance begins on June 25, you can select and receive Radiant Epic gear a total of 4 times.
So what should you actually craft?
Generally, this is best used to snipe the final missing piece once you already have 4 armor pieces and 2 accessory or special equipment pieces set up.

In particular, with the new Martial God dungeon Soldoros now added, the Guardian Giant Set is getting a lot of attention, so this is a great chance to farm that set as well.

As for me, in the first week I crafted an Elting Bracelet for my Spitfire, and I’m planning to use the Snowflake Exchange Station to upgrade it into an Exceed Elting Bracelet too.
Wrapping Up

The first SnowMage event in DNF Mobile runs until maintenance on June 25, and that’s not all.
If you check the official website, you’ll see a banner next to a sunglasses-wearing SnowMage that says “COMING SOON”. I’m not sure whether that means something like a SnowMage avatar or creature is on the way, but it definitely feels worth looking forward to whatever gets added in June.

On top of that, every roadmap item revealed in the 2026 first-half milestone has now been fully updated. I’m already curious what kind of things we’ll get to enjoy in the second half of the year, and until then, I’ll be waiting with these adorable SnowMages.
