Nexon has released official digital sheet music for signature BGM from MapleStory, TalesWeaver, and KartRider.

On May 20, 2026, sheet music from all three games launched simultaneously in over 150 countries through an official collaboration between Nexon and global digital sheet music service mymusic5 (operated by 엠피에이지).

30 Tracks, Effectively 60 Arrangements

The release features 10 tracks from each game, for a total of 30. The selection includes “Ellinia (When the Morning Comes)” and 9 other tracks from MapleStory, “Reminiscence” and 9 other tracks from TalesWeaver, and “대저택 댄스 배틀” and 9 other tracks from KartRider.

A key highlight: all 30 tracks are available in both standard and Easy versions. That brings the effective total to 60 arrangements, making the release accessible to everyone from those just learning an instrument to more experienced musicians.

Official Sheet Music Finally Replaces Unofficial Transcriptions

Until now, unofficial fan transcriptions have been widely shared in online communities. This release introduces official, fully licensed sheet music to take their place.

All three games hold nostalgic appeal for Korean players in their 20s to 40s, while TalesWeaver’s BGM has long been a particular favorite in piano communities. Even now, I still find Reminiscence and Second Run moving.

The opportunity to perform these pieces legally with official sheet music is a welcome development for fans and the sheet music market alike.

Monthly Updates Bring More to Look Forward To

▲ Raindrop flower, the BGM for MapleStory’s Training Forest, has reached the upper ranks of the chart. To close, I will revisit its orchestral version for the first time in a while. Even if the title is unfamiliar, you will likely recognize the music as soon as you hear it.

This is just the beginning for Nexon’s official sheet music releases. New official sheet music is scheduled to be added every month, gradually opening up more of Nexon’s extensive OST library.

A launch celebration event for game fans and musicians worldwide has also been announced. Further details will follow in a separate announcement, so interested fans should watch for updates.

I hope music from my favorites—DNF, Mabinogi, and Vindictus—will follow soon. I am especially looking forward to Vindictus, whose outstanding BGM is often featured even on public broadcast channels.
