Nexon has released official digital sheet music for signature BGM tracks from MapleStory, TalesWeaver, and KartRider.

On May 20, 2026, through an official collaboration between Nexon and global digital sheet music service mymusic5 (operated by MPAG), sheet music from all three games was launched simultaneously in more than 150 countries worldwide.

30 songs in total — effectively 60

The newly released lineup includes 10 songs from each game, for a total of 30 tracks. MapleStory includes nine more songs alongside 'Ellinia (When the Morning Comes)', TalesWeaver includes nine more alongside 'Reminiscence', and KartRider includes nine more alongside 'Mansion Dance Battle'.

There is one especially notable detail here. All 30 songs come with both a standard version and an Easy version. In practical terms, that makes this effectively a 60-piece release. That means the lineup is broad enough to appeal to everyone from first-time beginners picking up an instrument to players with a fair amount of experience.

'Unofficial transcriptions' finally go official

Until now, online communities had been flooded with unofficial fan-made transcriptions. With this launch, properly licensed official sheet music is now moving in to replace that space.

All three games are nostalgic titles for Koreans now in their 20s to 40s, and TalesWeaver BGM in particular has been a long-running favorite in piano performance communities. Even now, hearing Reminiscence and Second Run still hits me right in the chest.

Being able to play these songs legally now, with properly released official sheet music, is a welcome change both for fans and for the sheet music market itself.

I’m also hoping official releases for DNF, Mabinogi, and Vindictus arrive soon. Vindictus BGM in particular has so many standout tracks that they are often heard even on public broadcasters, so expectations are especially high.
