Apparently, official digital sheet music for some of Nexon's most popular game IPs—TalesWeaver, MapleStory, and KartRider—is coming to the global sheet music platform 마이뮤직파이브.

So I thought I'd share some Nexon music I'd like to play myself. Honestly, though, I've written so much about MapleStory music that I'm running out of things to say—and getting a little tired of it. This time, I decided to look for some good tracks from other Nexon games instead.

MapleStory is the only game I play, so I'm not really familiar with the music from other Nexon games.

I had a listen to tracks from a few different games on NECORD Music and picked out the ones I liked.

DNF Female Priest Theme Song

I didn't actually find this one on NECORD Music. It's the theme song that came out when the Female Priest was released in DNF.

I stumbled across it on YouTube a while back and liked it enough that it spent some time on my playlist.

It's not on my playlist anymore, but I suddenly remembered it while writing this and went back for my first listen in ages. Still good.

I really like the melody, so I'd love to try playing it if sheet music comes out.

Elsword Varnimyr Main OST

Apparently, this is the Varnimyr main OST, released when boss raids were added to Varnimyr, a new region in Elsword's Demon Realm. The view count caught my eye, so I gave it a listen. It's pretty good! This one has a lovely melody too, so it'd be nice to get sheet music for it.

Closers Violet Theme Song

Leaving MapleStory aside, most of the videos with high view counts on NECORD Music were tracks from the Closers OST.

That got me curious enough to listen, and… why is this song so good?

I looked up what it was used for, and apparently it's the theme song that came out with the new character Violet.

It's so well done that it feels like something from a TV drama OST.

Closers had plenty of other good tracks too, which got me wondering what kind of game it actually was. So I looked it up.

Apparently, it's an action RPG set in New Seoul in 2020, where Closers with a supernatural ability called Phase Power battle otherworldly creatures called dimensional monsters.

It looks like the game might be having a pretty rough time these days—Nexon no longer runs it, and Naddic Games has taken over publishing it directly.

Still, the video was on NECORD Music, so it's okay to post it here, right?

So that was my little detour into game music outside of MapleStory. Turns out other Nexon games have plenty of good tracks too.

I think quite a few people would buy digital sheet music for these tracks if it came out.
