Apparently official digital sheet music for TalesWeaver, MapleStory, and KartRider—basically some of Nexon’s biggest, most recognizable game IPs—is coming to the global sheet music platform MyMusicFive.

So I figured I’d put together a little list of Nexon tracks I’d personally want to play, but honestly, I’ve written way too many music posts about MapleStory already, and at this point I’m kind of out of material and a little sick of myself too, so this time I decided to look for good music from other Nexon games instead.

Since I basically only play MapleStory and don’t know much about music from other Nexon games,

I went through a bunch of tracks on NECORD MUSIC and picked the ones I liked most.

DNF Female Priest Theme Song

I didn’t find this one on NECORD MUSIC, but it’s the Female Priest theme song that came out when the DNF Female Priest was released,

and I actually ran into it by chance on YouTube a long time ago, liked it a lot, and had it in one of my playlists for a while.

It’s not in there anymore, but writing this post suddenly reminded me of it, so I went back to listen again for the first time in ages, and yeah... it still sounds great.

The melody is so good that if it ever gets released as sheet music, I’d definitely want to try playing it.

Elsword Varnimyr Main OST

Apparently this is the Varnimyr main OST that came out when boss raid content was added to Varnimyr, a new region in Elsword’s demon realm. I clicked on it because the view count was high, and it was actually pretty nice. This one has a really good melody too, so I feel like it’d be great as sheet music.

Closers Violet Theme Song

On NECORD MUSIC, aside from MapleStory, a lot of the high-view videos were Closers OST tracks,

so I got curious and gave them a listen, and seriously, why is the music this good?

I looked up where this track was used, and apparently it was the theme song released alongside the new character Violet,

and the production quality is high enough that it honestly feels like listening to a drama OST.

There seemed to be a lot of good music in Closers beyond just this track, so I got curious about what kind of game it actually is and looked it up,

and apparently it’s an action RPG set in New Seoul in the year 2020, about battles between Closers, who possess a supernatural power called Phase Force, and extradimensional lifeforms called Chanwonjong.

It seems like the game’s having a pretty rough time these days, since Nexon no longer manages it and it was switched over to self-service by Naddic Games,

but since the video was on NECORD MUSIC, I guess it should be fine to post it, right?

This time I tried talking about game music outside of MapleStory, and yeah, there really are a lot of great tracks in other Nexon games too.

I honestly think plenty of people would buy them if they came out as digital sheet music.
