I'm 제이메르, a Nexon Picker.

The Nexon Computer Museum on Jeju Island, Asia's first computer museum,

has completed around 4 months of renovations

and reopened on May 12 under a new name: 'Nexon Museum'!

With a fresh take on Nexon's 30-year legacy,

the museum has been transformed into a cultural space where players' experiences and memories come alive.

Introducing Nexon Museum on Jeju Island

At this exhibition, visitors can log in with their own Nexon accounts

to enjoy a unique, personalized experience that gathers their play history across different games in one place.

Visitors who register as guests are shown a randomly selected IP,

giving them a fun way to explore Nexon's wide range of games!

The first floor also features Café MapleStory '핑크빈 출몰지역',

an adorable themed space.

The interior design makes lovely use of the character's signature colors.

You'll also find merchandise inspired by the IP and the local area, along with special MapleStory-themed menu items.

If I make it to Jeju Island, I'll definitely want to stop here and sample the menu!

Hearing how Nexon Museum brings gaming memories so vividly to life

got me wondering, 'If I were curating my own exhibition, what would I put on display?'

I couldn't help imagining the possibilities :)

So, I've picked out three things I'd love to exhibit.

1. DNF Character Illustrations

Pictured here is Omniblade, a character I really like! This is an AI-generated image.

First on my list would be character illustrations from 'DNF', displayed in all their glory on the walls.

With their distinctive beauty and dynamic energy, DNF's awakening illustrations

would look stunning printed on large canvases and arranged as a gallery display.

2. A Giant 'Sol Erda' Sculpture

This is an AI-generated image.

Sol Erda is a familiar item that MapleStory players encounter every day,

and I'd love to turn it into a giant sculpture at the center of the exhibition hall!

Imagine taking an item you've only ever seen as a tiny pixel sprite in your inventory

and coming face-to-face with it as a three-dimensional sculpture taller than a person.

I think it would feel surprisingly grand—and make me want to power up my character even more :)

3. A Video Exhibit of 'Dunbarton' Scenery in Mabinogi Mobile

I'd also love to showcase everyday scenes from 'Dunbarton', a town in Mabinogi Mobile, on a large screen!

With its easy access and constant bustle of players, Dunbarton is such a familiar, welcoming place, isn't it?

It would be lovely to watch footage of players chatting in little groups around the square or filling the streets with lively activity,

all accompanied by Dunbarton's distinctively peaceful background music.

I think it would make a relaxing spot where every visitor could feel warm and at ease :)

For a firsthand look at the history and culture of a wide range of Nexon games,

you can visit Nexon Museum from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The museum is closed every Monday and on Seollal and Chuseok themselves.

It's a perfect addition to your Jeju itinerary!
