I’m Jeymer, a Nexon Picker.

The ‘Nexon Computer Museum,’ Asia’s first computer museum located on Jeju Island,

has wrapped up about four months of renovation

and officially reopened on May 12 under its new name, ‘Nexon Museum’!

It has been reimagined as a modern interpretation of Nexon’s 30-year legacy,

reborn as a cultural space where players’ experiences and memories come to life.

If that sounds interesting, let’s take a quick look :D

Introducing Jeju Nexon Museum

In this exhibition, visitors can log in with their own Nexon account

for a special personalized experience that brings together play records scattered across multiple games in one place.

Even visitors who register as guests are assigned a random IP,

which makes for a fun opportunity to discover Nexon’s wide variety of games!

What’s more, the first floor also features an adorable themed space called MapleStory Cafe ‘Pink Bean Sighting Area’.

From the overall interior to the details, it really nails the character’s signature colors.

You can even check out goods inspired by each IP and the local area, along with special Maple-themed menu items.

If I ever make it to Jeju Island, this is definitely one spot I’d want to visit and try for myself!

Hearing about Nexon Museum and the way it so vividly brings gaming memories to life

got me thinking, “If I were the curator and could plan an exhibition myself, what would I put on display?”

So, I picked three things I’d personally love to exhibit.

1. DNF Character Illustrations

This is an illustration of the Weapon Master that I really like! This image was generated with AI.

The very first thing I’d want to display across a wall in a big, eye-catching way would be character illustrations from ‘던전앤파이터.’

DNF’s signature awakening illustrations, with their refined style and dynamic energy,

would look incredible enlarged on canvas and displayed like pieces in a gallery.

2. A Giant ‘Sol Erda’ Sculpture

This image was generated with AI.

For MapleStory users, it’s a familiar item they see every single day,

and I’d love to turn Sol Erda into a massive sculpture and place it right in the middle of the exhibition hall!

Seeing an item you’ve only ever known as a tiny dot sprite in your inventory

recreated as a full 3D sculpture larger than a real person

would probably feel strangely grand—and might even make that urge to power up even stronger :)

3. A Video Exhibition of ‘Dunbarton’ Scenery from Mabinogi Mobile

I’d also love to exhibit everyday scenes from ‘Dunbarton,’ the town in Mabinogi Mobile, on a large screen!

Dunbarton is such an accessible area that it’s always bustling with players, which makes it feel especially familiar and welcoming, right?

The lively sight of users gathered in the plaza chatting in little groups or energetically moving through the streets,

paired with Dunbarton’s signature peaceful BGM, would be wonderful to take in as a video installation.

It really feels like it could become a cozy healing spot for every visitor :)

Nexon Museum is a place where you can experience the history and culture of various Nexon games firsthand,

and its operating hours are 10 AM to 6 PM,

with closures every Monday and on the day of Seollal and Chuseok.

It would make a perfect stop on a Jeju trip, too!
