Today, I'm returning to 메이플 플래닛 after some time away. We'll cover the Cygnus Knights' 2nd Job Advancement quest and the Thunder Breaker's 2nd Job skill build. Let's take a look at what the Thunder Breaker's 2nd Job skills have to offer.

The End of Knight Training

Neinheart remarks that you seem to have gained quite a few levels without him noticing. He asks you to come to Ereve right away to take the Knight Rank Exam. If you qualify, you'll become an official knight.

Hawkeye is pleased to hear that you're taking the Knight Rank Exam. He explains that the exam is straightforward: go to Training Ground 2, defeat Titi, and collect 30 Proofs of the Exam.

Head to the far left of Ereve to find the Training Ground Entrance. From there, climb a little higher to reach Training Ground 2.

Once you're inside Training Ground 2, defeat all the Titi you encounter. Keep going until you've collected 30 Proofs of the Exam.

Return to Hawkeye, who confirms that you've collected all the proofs. He tells you that all that remains is to receive the title of official knight. Your 2nd Job Advancement is finally complete.

That completes the 2nd Job Advancement and brings the advancement quest to an end.

You can collect the Official Knight medal from Cygnus.

Thunder Breaker 2nd Job Skill Build

Improve MaxHP 1 -> Corkscrew Blow 1 -> Improve MaxHP MAX -> Knuckle Mastery MAX -> Corkscrew Blow MAX -> Energy Charge MAX -> Lightning Charge MAX -> Knuckle Booster MAX -> Energy Blast 11

As I mentioned before, I tend to put points into passive skills first, followed by attack skills and then Booster. For your attack skill, choose either Corkscrew Blow or Energy Blast. Adjust the build to suit your preferences.

Defeating Francis

Francis's cave is in Evil Eye Cave 3. Enter the password you obtained earlier: Francis is a genius puppeteer!

Now it's time to face Francis. Aside from his debuffs and healing, the fight is fairly straightforward, so you should have little trouble defeating him.

After defeating Francis, return to Neinheart to learn about the Black Wings. They are followers of the Black Mage who seek to bring about his resurrection. If you play the main MapleStory game, you'll already be familiar with this information, but we've covered it again here.

Closing Thoughts

Today in 메이플 플래닛, we completed the 2nd Job Advancement quest, explored the Thunder Breaker's 2nd Job skill build, and defeated Francis. Becoming an official knight and then going on to defeat Francis makes for a very well-crafted story, in my view.
