Hello to all my fellow Nexon game fans,

it’s Jaepamin!

Do you guys have any quests or story twists that really stuck with you? For me, one that’s still fresh in my mind is the quest called JM's Conspiracy Theory that I did recently, so I wanted to give you a quick intro to what it’s about and what rewards you get from it.

First, go find the NPC 'JM of the Back Alley’ in Kerning City. Talk to him, then choose '[Kerning City] Dark Swamp.'

Then JM asks you to defeat 70 Jr. Neckis, collect '20 Jr. Necki Skins' and '5 Witch Grass Leaves,' and place them in the drawer at the Medicine Shop.

Jr. Neckis are in the sewer, and if you head right after taking the quest, you should run into them pretty easily. Just as a heads-up, you’ll also need to talk to Lakeris over there a little later.

The Jr. Neckis are straightforward enough to deal with, and to get Witch Grass Leaves, you need to walk up to the purple flower and use a basic attack so they’ll drop. While I was trying to gather the leaves, the Neckis kept getting in the way, which was weirdly annoying.

Once you’ve somehow gathered everything, head to the Medicine Shop. It’s above JM. When you enter the map, you should see the quest completion book floating there.

Once you put the materials in, it praises you for doing well and asks for a few more favors. After that, head back to where JM of the Back Alley is.

Now you can finally start the main quest, 'JM's Conspiracy Theory'. A monster named Dyle has started appearing in the swamp past the Kerning City sewer, and since nobody seems to know where it came from, JM says it’s worth investigating. Then he sends you to the NPC Mungttangtta to gather information.

Mungttangtta is to the left of JM. Talk to Mungttangtta and he sends you to Nella, then Nella tells you to go find Lakeris. You can just follow that NPC order one by one.

After that, talk to JM again and then go find Lakeris. Lakeris, totally flustered, explains that she accidentally let an unfinished spell flow into the sewer, and a Ligator ate it and transformed into Dyle. I was expecting some huge conspiracy or something, but nope... it was just a simple mistake. Hah.

When you report that back to JM, he lets out a big sigh over how this wasn’t what he expected at all and asks you to defeat Dyle. Honestly, I’d probably sigh too.

Dyle is a level 50 boss monster, so it’s not too hard to take down.

After beating Dyle, go let JM know and you’ll get 12 Fame and a large amount of EXP. That wraps up the JM's Conspiracy Theory quest. The part at the end where JM tells you not to trust Lakeris was honestly so funny.

At first I thought this was going to tie into the Black Mage, or at least some villain conspiracy connected to him, but the ending was such a deflating one that it just made me laugh. What quest has stayed in your memory the most? Thanks for reading!
