Hello, this is Game Sky.

Today, I’m returning to Maple Planet after a while, and this time the focus is the Sleepywood Dispatch Mission. The player heads all the way into the dungeon to carry out the assignment, so let’s go over how the story unfolds.

Then, let’s get started.

Nineheart explains that the detector has picked up an evil presence in Sleepywood. However, with no informant available, there is no further intel, so the player is told to investigate alone.

Sabitrama’s Information

After arriving in Sleepywood, the first quest comes from an NPC named Sabitrama. He says he found a strange cave with dolls placed inside, and in exchange for revealing its location, he asks you to defeat 200 Evil Eyes.

Originally, Deep Forest Swamp was home to Horny Mushrooms, Green Mushrooms, or Slimes in Mapleland, but in Maple Planet, Evil Eyes appear there instead. It seems to follow the hunting ground version from after the great earthquake.

Anyway, once the hunt is finished, Sabitrama says the place was somewhere inside Evil Eye’s Cave. He does not know the exact spot, but he says it could be reached through a large hollow tree.

Krishurama’s Information

When you speak to Krishurama, he seems to know something about the Puppeteer. Still, that information is not free either. He says that if you bring him 100 Horny Mushroom Caps, he will tell you about the boy’s prank.

If you need Horny Mushrooms, Ant Tunnel I is the obvious place to go. For reference, the Sleepywood Dispatch Mission includes several quests that link well with hunting in Ant Tunnel I, so that is worth keeping in mind.

Krishurama then explains the boy’s prank. According to him, the boy had been scribbling graffiti on a strange-shaped statue, and he suggests that this boy may be the Puppeteer.

The player then examines the statue just as Krishurama described, checking the graffiti written on its back.

The graffiti reads, OOOO is a genius Puppeteer.

Information from the One Who Remembers

The One Who Remembers also seems to know something about the Puppeteer. He knows the Puppeteer’s name, but once again, that information does not come free.

He asks you to defeat 250 Zombie Mushrooms in the Ant Tunnel. As mentioned earlier, if you form a party and hunt in Ant Tunnel I, you can clear this quickly. This kind of quest overlap works especially well here.

After all the Zombie Mushrooms are defeated, he finally reveals the name. It is Francis.

Once you return to Ereve, the quest comes to an end with Nineheart giving a final summary.

Closing Thoughts

Today, we went over the Sleepywood Dispatch Mission. Since it also links well with quests in Ant Tunnel I, it made leveling up much easier.

This has been Game Sky. Thank you!
