Color Hunting is a new kind of play where you pick a specific color, spot it in everyday spaces or out in nature, and capture it in photos or video—a blend of ‘Color’ and ‘Hunting’.

Now that I’m entering the twilight years of the MZ generation, there was no way I was going to skip this. So I went digging through maps and my inventory, and here’s my little red & black collection showcase!

I even dressed my character in red & black for full immersion. This is one of my go-to Cash Shop coordis :)

1. Zakum’s Altar Entrance

I can still vividly remember how my heart used to pound in front of the Zakum’s Altar Entrance back in my little Mapler days. These days I mostly stop by while cycling through weekly boss mules or grabbing buffs, but it still sits in a corner of my heart as pure nostalgia.

1. Esfera - Mirror-Touched Sea 3

Whenever I’m doing Esfera dailies on an alt, I always run into Aranya here too—red and black! I used to train here a lot, but now I mostly only see it while filling out those 100 daily quest monster kills.

1. Half Earrings

My equipment inventory is packed with red & black items too. I spotted my Half Earrings, the trusty pair that’s always taking care of my meso gain. I’ve had this item with me for about 3 years now, so it feels extra meaningful.

1. Skill

I even found red & black in one of my mobbing skills! It’s a skill called Veil of Shadow, and I use it a lot since it deals wide-area damage and has a chance to boost Assassinate, my main skill.

1. Magnificent Kaling Soul

After I finished grinding and came back out, a Magnificent Kaling Soul was there to greet me. Looking at it now, this one totally counts as red & black too. Click!

It kind of felt like playing spot-the-difference, which made it weirdly fun. You all should try picking a color and doing a little color hunting too—it’s more fun than you’d think +_+! Thanks for reading~
