Two regions that are perfect to visit when the weather gets hot
하랑

With the weather getting hotter and hotter, I’m sure a lot of Maple warriors are struggling in this heat,
so today I wanted to share a couple of cool, refreshing MapleStory areas that can really help blow that summer heat away.
Carcion

Carcion is a western Grandis region you can enter once you hit level 285,

and it’s home to Keira, the Ancient God of rivers who protects Carcion, as well as the snake Anima and turtle Anima.
If you check the minimap, parts of Carcion honestly feel like you’re hunting underwater, since the maps are filled with emerald-colored sea and huge coral formations.

That’s why Carcion is one of those MapleStory areas that already feels refreshing just from looking at it.
My character is level 289, so I’m still hunting along the Carcion coast, and every single time I’m there, I end up admiring the map background all over again.
If I could actually visit a MapleStory area in real life, I’d want to go to Carcion.

Whenever I want to dive around in Carcion, I head to Where the Sea Meets the Forest 1,
and this map is so pretty that it’s famous as a screenshot spot too.
So why not put together a summer outfit like I did and take some pretty screenshots there?
Aquarium

True to its underwater village concept, Aquarium

even the underwater castle is beautifully decorated with conch shells and clam shells, and the NPCs are dressed in sea-creature outfits too.
It’s a town that stays completely faithful to its concept, so of course the hunting maps are also full of sea-creature monsters,

and exploring all these different maps just to check out the monsters
really makes it feel like you’re scuba diving in the middle of the ocean.
Unlike Carcion, Aquarium is a completely abandoned area now, so there’s nobody around,
and honestly, that made it even better for me, because it felt like I was exploring the underwater world all by myself..
So that was my little intro to Carcion and Aquarium, two areas that feel cool just by looking at them,
and I really recommend them as MapleStory vacation spots worth visiting during the hot summer season.
