With the weather getting hotter, I’m sure plenty of Maple warriors are feeling the heat,

so today I thought I’d share a couple of refreshing places in MapleStory to help you cool off.

Carcion

Carcion is a region in western Grandis that opens up once you reach level 285,

and it’s home to 케이라, the Ancient God of the river who protects Carcion, along with snake and turtle Anima.

A glance at the minimap shows emerald seas and enormous coral formations across parts of Carcion, with scenery that makes hunting there feel like you’re underwater.

It’s one of those places in MapleStory that feels refreshing just to look at.

My character is level 289, so I’m still hunting along Carcion’s coast, and every time I do, I find myself admiring the scenery.

If I could visit a place in MapleStory for real, I’d want to go to Carcion.

When I want to go AFK in Carcion, I head to 바다와 숲이 만나는 곳 1,

and the map is so pretty that it’s a popular screenshot spot, too.

So why not put on a summer outfit like I did and take some pretty screenshots?

Aquarium

Aquarium really leans into its underwater-town theme,

with even its underwater castle beautifully decorated in conch shells and seashells, and NPCs dressed as sea creatures.

That theme carries right through to the hunting grounds, where you’ll find sea-creature monsters,

and as I explore the different maps to check them out,

it really feels like I’m scuba diving under the sea.

Unlike Carcion, Aquarium is completely deserted these days, so there’s no one else around,

and that makes it even better for me—it feels like I’m exploring the ocean all on my own..

So that’s Carcion and Aquarium, two places that feel refreshing just to look at,

and my picks for a little MapleStory getaway in the summer heat.
