Azur Promilia CBT Impressions: Realistically Detailed Life-Sim Content!
피스타임

Hello!
This is Nexon Picker Fistime.

On May 15, the CBT for the new game
Azur Promilia, developed by Manjuu and published by Nexon, began.
Since it falls under the uncommon genre of a sandbox action RPG,
I went in with high expectations and wanted to share my impressions after playing.
Kibo, you're mine!
Kibo, fantasy creatures that live in symbiosis

In Azur Promilia,
fantasy creatures known as Kibo appear throughout the game.

To add a Kibo to your team,
you first need to wear down its HP in battle to seize the initiative,

then capture it by throwing a card like this.

Kibo abilities vary by type,
and some can even be used as mounts like this.

Others can support you in combat.

They can also help out with work in your settlement.
There’s even a system where
petting the Kibo you own increases your affinity with them.

Collecting all kinds of Kibo
and putting them to use in different ways looks like a lot of fun.
Packed to the brim
with life content!

Because Azur Promilia is an open-world game,
the map is filled with things like Kibo-based puzzles
and treasure chests scattered throughout.
Exploration is a major draw as well.

And just like in real life, you can chop wood like this,

gather materials through mining,

and use facilities for crafting and processing,
so the life content feels impressively deep overall.

It was only a short hands-on session, but Azur Promilia
left me with the impression of a fantasy world built around living alongside Kibo,
brought to life in a beautiful subculture-style aesthetic.

On top of that, from realistically grounded life content
to character collection and progression, as well as combat content,
there are plenty of systems here to really sink your teeth into,
so it definitely feels like a game worth looking forward to at launch.
