This August, Taiwan MapleStory (TMS)

is set to host an event called the Pink Bean Run.

The Pink Bean Run will take place at New Taipei Metropolitan Park in Taiwan

on August 29, 2026, from 15:00 to 20:30.

The course will feature decorations recreating MapleStory maps,

with photo zones featuring monsters such as Pink Bean and Yeti.

A DJ will also keep runners motivated with music from the game,

making this a promising new kind of festival for MapleStory players.

Registration opened on April 14, and the response was so enthusiastic

that registration closed early on May 14.

Participants could choose between 2 teams when registering,

and the rewards for the Pink Bean Adventurers are shown below.

Entry costs 1,180 Taiwan dollars, or approximately 57,000 Korean won.

Here are the rewards for the Maple Friends team.

Instead of the Pink Bean towel that doubles as a raincoat,

this package includes a cushion blanket and a tumbler.

Entry costs 1,880 Taiwan dollars, or approximately 90,000 Korean won.

Note that the completion certificate and finisher medal are souvenirs for finishing the run,

so anyone who does not take part in the run will not receive them.

In Korea, a MapleStory collaboration is currently underway at Lotte World.

It would have been fun to see a sports collaboration like this here as well.

After all, it would be a chance to get a good run in and pick up some merchandise at the same time.
