5 Heat-Beating Maps to Cool You Down in the Sweltering Summer
재파민

Hello to all my fellow Nexon game lovers,
this is Jaepamin!

Do you dress your characters based on the weather too? If my Maple kid is still in long sleeves during summer, they somehow look hot just standing there, so I end up putting them in something cooler.
That refreshing feeling hits even harder on maps with blue-toned colors. So today, I’m going to give a quick intro to some of those maps in MapleStory.
Upper right side of Cernium Village

First up is Cernium Village, the area I’ve been staying in lately. The cool-toned palette makes it a great map to go AFK in, and since only level 285 players and up can enter, it kind of gives you a little extra shoulder boost too.
If you hop on the wave at the far right edge, you can go back and forth and just play around on it, which makes it feel even more refreshing. +_+
MVP Resort

Second is MVP Resort. You can enter this map once you reach MVP Silver rank.
A lot of people use it since you can earn EXP just by standing still. The whole map is designed around a summer resort theme, so it’s full of that cool, breezy vibe.
El Nath

Third is El Nath. Honestly, I feel like this one needs no explanation. Everyone probably knows it already.
Since it’s a winter-themed map, it doesn’t just feel cool—it almost feels cold. This place kind of makes you want to switch into a winter outfit, even just for a little bit.
Gold Beach Resort

Fourth is Gold Beach Resort. I mean, the name alone is literally beach and resort. It’s packed with bright, refreshing scenery and a whole bunch of sea monsters.
There was a time when this was basically a mandatory power-leveling hunting spot, but now it feels like a relic from another era, which is kind of sad. The Theme Dungeon story is fun, though, so if you’ve been curious, it’s worth trying.
Aquarium

Fifth is Aquarium. This whole map is absolutely filled with ocean all the way through. It’s fun because when you jump, you can float all the way up to the top of the map.
There’s also a hidden zoo inside the town map, so it’s fun to go take a look around there too.
So, that was my quick intro to 5 maps that can help you beat the sweltering heat. It’s getting really hot out there, so I hope you all enjoy some cool, refreshing gameplay with ice cream in hand!
