It's the charming NPCs, their tangled relationships, and the stories that connect them!

Today, I'd like to share a story that really stood out to me among the quests in Mabinogi Mobile:

the “Where Dreams Meet” quest chain, which centers on 티이 and 카단.

카단's Awkward Attempts to Win Her Over! How Does 티이 See Him?

You can begin this story at Lv 59 or above by accepting

the “Growing Feelings” quest from the NPC 티이.

The quest begins with the player keeping an eye on 카단 and helping him out,

as he's been acting strangely(?) and not quite like himself.

Wait… what?

Looks like 킬리언 is to blame here.

It turns out 카단 has been trying everything he can think of to show 티이 how he truly feels.

Like giving her all the money he's worked so hard to save…

Or, after hearing that she likes medicinal herbs, spending that money buying up every herb in the area…

With the injured mercenaries now unable to get any herbs,

티이, left with a mountain of them, ends up skipping meals to tend to the wounded.

The player prepares a packed lunch for 티이, only for 카단 to get jealous(?)

To make matters worse, 카단 puts his foot in his mouth and makes little 코비 cry…

카단 makes up his mind to try again. Why do I have a bad feeling about this…?

After hearing some misguided advice that coming to her rescue in a crisis would win her affection,

he goes so far as to release tame wolves to stage a fake emergency.

Of course, his clumsy scheme is exposed, and 티이 gives him quite a scolding 😂

And there's the player, caught in the middle and running errands back and forth…!

As frustrating as it was, there was something sweet and endearing about 카단's blind devotion to 티이 and his awkward attempts to express it.

The Moment Their True Feelings Meet!

After the staged crisis, 티이 lets 카단 know how hurt she is,

saying, “That wasn't for me. It was for you.”

카단 realizes that he never even tried to understand what 티이 truly dreamed of,

and instead put his own desire to protect her above everything else.

Later, when they work together to rescue little 코비 from real wild wolves,

things begin to feel warm between them again.

A Picnic Ending on 엘리드, an Island Where Time Seems to Stand Still

The real highlight of this quest is its ending scene.

코비, 티이, 카단, and the player all head out for a picnic on 엘리드, a mysterious island where the flowers never fade.

With beautiful background music playing, everyone spreads out a picnic blanket and settles down to enjoy some peace and quiet.

The letters from the two characters at the end of the quest are touching, too.

In particular, the wording of 카단's letter seems to hint at 티이's fate (a deep sleep),

leaving you with a flutter of excitement, but also a wistful ache that lingers.

With its multifaceted characters, Mabinogi Mobile delivers

a romantic storyline full of subtle, believable emotions.
