Neinheart

Neinheart has a new mission for you and asks you to come to Ereve.

Once you arrive in Ereve, Neinheart asks you to head to Perion and meet an informant named Ten Boogies.

When you meet Ten Boogies, your character comments on his unusual name. Boogies explains that he needs it to fit in with the people of Perion.

Strange Behavior of Wooden Masks

Your character then asks how the detector works. Boogies explains that it detects the Puppeteer’s evil energy. Its readings suggest that the Puppeteer is plotting something nearby.

Ten Boogies tells you how many monsters you need to defeat, but the number is far too high. When your character complains, he asks you to bring back a doll and defeat just 200 monsters.

You can find Wooden Masks at the Excavation Site. There are plenty at Excavation Site 2, so hunt them there. Since you need to defeat so many, consider teaming up with nearby players.

After defeating 200 monsters, return to Ten Boogies with the doll to receive the EXP reward shown here.

Strange Behavior of Rocky Masks

Talk to him again to learn that the detector has picked up another signal, this time from Excavation Site 3. He says you need to act quickly to stop whatever is happening there.

He asks you to go to Site 3 and defeat 100 Rocky Masks—no, 500—no, just 200, and bring back a doll. If he keeps playing around with the monster count, I might have to call him 100 Million Boogies.

Head to Excavation Site 3, defeat 200 Rocky Masks, and bring back a doll.

When you return, Boogies reveals that the detector is actually a prototype. He explains that he was giving it a brief test in Perion because the Puppeteer is likely to appear there.

Completing the Perion Dispatch Mission

Boogies says the warriors of Perion volunteered to help him. I suppose his cute appearance helped win them over. He then asks you to deliver his report to Neinheart.

Neinheart says the detector test was a success, and it’s now only a matter of time before they find the Puppeteer. He also tells you to keep training until you’re strong enough to defeat the Puppeteer.

Wrapping Up

That covers the Perion Dispatch Mission. I found this quest quite tough: defeating 200 Wooden Masks and 200 Rocky Masks took plenty of potions and left my mesos running low. If possible, I recommend hunting with a party.
